Trump signs an EO to make it easier for teachers to "discipline" students

So, we are going back to 1950's punishment for children as we ship them off to work in factories and agriculture processing plants. It's for the children, makes them strong on some shit! GTFO 🤮

"Discipline" students. Oh shit.💩 Back to the dark age of beating the shit out of a student. By the way who is the guy who tells what the EO is before he signs? Can't he read or doesn't he know what he is being handed? Maybe a little "discipline" for him not knowing how to read should be in order.

Discipline with a twist? Sounds like a recipe for 'class' warfare. Meanwhile, educators are left wondering if 'unruly' pupils will become the new 'enemy within.' #EducationalErasement?

And there's Sec. McMahon, the wrestling diva, telling Trump that this executive order will help teachers. While she systematically tries to blow up the Department of Education. What a joke.

The Dear Leader is satisifed that the federal education cadres have thoroughly analysed and understood the problem and are ready to spring forward with a solution that will meet his demands for smiling, pliant young workers for his Great America Sweatshops.

1. Malarkey. States determine disciplinary measures in schools *in that state* -- not the federal government. 2. This means corporal punishment, doesn't it. Or calling the cops to handcuff Black 6-year-olds. Because you know who this is directed at.

I had to look up what Obama signed that was so horrible. It starts with “Ensure that school discipline is applied fairly without regard to a student’s race, color, national origin, religion, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation…”. They’re disgusting to reverse that.

Gotta love the regression. We spent a couple of decades learning that exclusionary discipline and zero tolerance doesn’t work. Let’s just learn it all over again 🙃

Why does it look like this is the first time he is hearing about this…also, why don’t we just dissolve congress as apparently to run the govt you just need some bold dude passing two pieces of paper and a sharpie…I thought congress made laws…

I work with kids all day long. The challenge to classroom behavior begins with the example set by leaders, be it parents or perhaps government leaders. When kids see there is no accountability, why should they make better behavior choices?

Who knows what the Obama and Biden policies were? Maybe they said ‘no corporal punishment’ and Trump just cancelled that! Who the heck knows. You can see he doesn’t know. But trumpers love to hear he is cancelling Obama and Biden. 😂

I didn’t mention corporal punishment - but since you mention it - folks who say it’s always wrong - aren’t always right. The majority of parents now treat teachers as baby sitters. They definitely don’t defer to the teacher. I experienced corporal punishment in grade school and it saved me.

What exactly are the folks in Congress doing, now the Orange Felon is passing all this 'legislation'? Asking from the home of democracy in the UK, where the government passes laws, not the 'king'.

So, people just make up stuff, then, more or less, explain it to him. These are not "Executive Orders," they are asinine fake laws, mostly unenforceable and/or unconstitutional, made up by his handlers that the monkey then signs.

omfg, you and I and everyone knows that President Biden could stand at the podium and tell you exactly what all of these orders say and mean, and anything else he took responsibility for. WTF is this tv show horseshit? Trump isn't even listening! "McDonalds and the back 9, just gotta sign."

Dude, if a teacher "discipline"d my kid, holy shit, shit would go down. Not going back, not going back. We have evolved from this medieval, caveman shit. Not going back!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is the discipline he wants to bring back. There will be many instances of lawsuits in this country again, with patents up in arms. Would you let your kids teacher bring back the paddle, switch, use their hand? If so you are sick

I don't see anything in the EO that implies physical punishment. But if my kid was continually being disruptive in class, then I'd hope I would find out before they got suspended and be able to correct that behavior on my own.

Suspension isn't what we are talking about. Did you watch the video? Do you know what discipline means? Discipline: The practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience. Suspension is already legal to do. Corporal punishment is not legal.

Trump slams Zelensky for refusing to recognize Russian control of Crimea. Imagine just for one minute Canada invading and occupying New Hampshire. Would any American accept that?????
