You seem to have forgotten animal crossing wild worlds. The scope of the game on the little ds is amazing. Checking in hand held was inspired. It was so good the Wii game just felt a little dull.

…Kirby Super Star Ultra, Mass Attack, Squeak Squad and Canvas Curse, Elite Beat Agents, Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, WarioWare: D.I.Y., Tetris DS, Clubhouse Games, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective (never played) and the DS Zelda Games

Shoutouts to: The Professor Layton franchise, Pokémon Gen 4 and Gen 5 (not a Pokémon guy), the rest of the Ace Attorney games (Justice for All, Apollo, and Investigations 1 and 2, which btw I haven’t played these last 2 yet), Mario Party DS, Super Mario 64 DS…

I'm gonna be the one of the few people with Spirit Tracks in their top 3 🔥 (I am weird)

Ones that pained me to remove: Sonic Rush, Advance Wars Days of Ruin, Pokémon DPPl, PMD Blue Rescue Team and Kirby Super Star Ultra Note: I have never played Order of Ecclesia, New Super Mario Bros., most Ace Attorney games, Professor Layton games so just saying that for the usual suspects.

1. Pokemon Platinum 2. Pokemon SoulSilver 3. New Super Mario Bros 4. Mario Kart DS 5. Pokemon Black 6. Pokemon Black 2 7. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 8. Tetris DS 9. The Legendary Starfy 10. Namco Museum DS

I'm sure I'll complete a DS game that I've only recently acquired and wish it could have gotten on this list, but man, there are some good games on this system. Had to kick out Kingdom Hearts because I love the story, but it sucks to play. Honorable mentions to Style Savvy and Big Brain Academy lol

This could've easily been a top 25, it was really hard narrowing my last few down. 1) Metroid Prime: Hunters 2) Mario Party DS 3) Pokémon Platinum 4) Tetris Party Deluxe 5) Warioware D.I.Y. 6) Tetris DS 7) New Super Mario Bros. 8) Mario Kart DS 9) Namco Museum DS 10) Super Scribblenauts

4 and 10 are more nostalgia picks just by how much time I put into them whilst I was younger. I've played Ghost Trick and TWEWY in recent years so I feel more confident placing them higher than the others too

Yes the ds was a pokemon player for me haha

This is probably the only top 10 games list for a Nintendo system I voted in that wasn’t dominated by Nintendo games. Without giving the full top 10, some of my highest ranking games include The World Ends With You, Sonic Rush Adventure, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations.

And that was *after* I had to cut 15-20 other great games just to get to that point (including, but not limited to, Tetris DS, Kirby Canvas Curse, Portrait of Ruin and Okamiden). All the games I had to leave off my final ballot could've easily been on there. I love the DS so much, man.

Ghost Trick New Super Mario Bros Ace Attorney 1 Ace Attorney 2 - Justice For All M&L: Bowser's Inside Story LoZ: Spirit Tracks Mario Kart DS Tetris DS LoZ: Phantom Hourglass M&L: Partners in Time Capcom managed to break into my childhood Nintendo list. But I still have to rep the M&L and LoZ games

1. The World Ends With You 2. Super Mario 64 DS 3. Pokémon White 4. Pokémon SoulSilver 5. Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit 6. Animal Crossing: Wild World 7. Mario Kart DS 8. WarioWare: Touched! 9. Super Princess Peach 10. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

EVERYOOOONE VOTE GHOST TRICK PLEASE AND IF YOU HAVE’NT PLAYED IT THEN PLAY IT NOW

This was a tough one cuz I'm not terribly fond of most DS games but my list was 1. Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon 2. BIS 3. Mario party 4. Sonic Rush 5. Rush adventure 6. Nsmb 7. Zelda Phantom Hourglass 8. Sm64ds 9. DK Jungle climber 10. Partners in time Forgot to include pokemon black, put it @ 9

Proudly putting down my vote for Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan and NOT Elite Beat Agents

Yes I've got 2 Phoenix Wright games... but I could have included 6. 1. Phoenix Wright: Trials & Tribulations 2. Phoenix Wright: AA 3. Professor Layton: Unwound Future 4. GTA Chinatown 5. Ghost Trick 6. Advance Wars Dual Strike 7. Castlevania: Ecclesia 8. Animal Crossing 9. 999 10. Elite Beat Agents

The real kicker for me is that I haven't played the DS remake of Dragon Quest 6, and umm... I like the SFC original MORE than either version of 5 or 9 >w>'; But I couldn't in good consciousness vote for it knowing how different the remakes of 4 and 5 were... Also no CT cuz it made the SNES list.

Is it ok for me to include Chrono Trigger on my list for this since I already submitted that game for the SNES, but I only played it on the DS?

Oh yeah, Ghost Trick too

Hello Based Department???

Skipped a lot of games on the Nintendo DS. So thats mostly all the games I've played.

Pokémon is absolutely going to dominate this poll, but it would be cool to see Some Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, or even Ghost Trick love in the top 10!

I’d like to take the time to mention the absolutely wonderful ‘42 All-Time Classics/Club House Games’ It taught me to play so many card games!

There's a couple other DS games I feel like would be in my Top 10, but haven't beaten yet so I can't officially rank them until I have

My personal list 1. The World Ends With You 2. Pokemon Black 2 3. Mega Man Star Force 3 4. Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story 5. Castlevania Portrait of Ruin 6. Kirby Super Star Deluxe 7. Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon 8. Mario Kart DS 9. Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded 10. Sonic Rush

DS games can be split into 5 era's by the SDK used to compile them. SDK5 was used for DSi hardware and enhancements (Though few ever used them) The DSi remains Nintendo's most secure handheld: Taking nearly a decade to fully crack, it's security only defeated thanks to it's successor: the 3DS.

1. Pokemon HGSS 2. Sonic Rush Adventure 3. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia 4. Kirby Superstar Ultra 5. Pokemon Black 2/White 2 6. Mario Kart DS 7. Star Fox Command 8. Wario Ware Touched 9. Mega Man Star Force 3 10. Animal Crossing Wild World So many good games that I have yet to play.

1. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story 2. Sonic Rush 3. New Super Mario Bros. 4. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time 5. Super Mario 64 DS 6. Mario Kart DS 7. Sonic Rush Adventure 8. Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood 9. Sonic Colors 10. Sonic Classic Collection you can tell where I ran out lol

It's incredible how so many of my favorite DS games are deep in the 70s on metascore sites like Etrian Odyssey and Infinite Space. The DS had such a deep and very much underrated, often misunderstood library. Even the actual slop was fun sometimes. I fondly remember this tank drawing game.

6) Elite Beat Agents 7) Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky 8) Solatorobo: Red the Hunter 9) Chōsōjū Mecha MG 10) Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day!

Does this count DSiWare games? Or will that be separate?

Casting my lot

This and 3DS will be the hardest for me. 1. Mario Kart DS 2. Pokémon HeartGold 3. AA: Trials & Tribulations 4. GTA: Chinatown Wars 5. Ghost Trick 6. Professor Layton and the Unwound Future 7. Elite Beat Agents 8. Nintendogs 9. 999 (placing was unintentional) 10. Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

In no particular order: (2/2) 6. Mario Kart DS 7. Kirby Super Star Ultra 8. Sonic Colors 9. Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2007 10. Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2009

This one was a hard one and I feel like it could change depending on what side of the bed I wake up on lol I don’t agree with platinum being mixed with DP but I get why it is (Also this took longer than it should’ve cause I couldn’t find my pokemon carts)

Order is important 1st gets 10 points, 2nd gets 9, 3rd gets 8 etc. Then the totals determine the final ranking overall

Gotcha thank you Mr.Bitner I can now do my homework thanks to your guidance

1. Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies 2. Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story 3. Pokémon: Heartgold & Soulsilver 4. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin 5. New Super Mario Bros 6. The World Ends With You 7. Mario Kart DS 8. Dragon Quest V 9. Kirby Super Star Ultra 10. Megaman ZX: Advent

This was a tough one: 1. 999 2. The World Ends With You 3. Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia 4. Elite Beat Agents 5. Metroid Prime Hunters 6. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars 7. Super Mario 64 DS 8. Resident Evil: Deadly Silence 9. Chrono Trigger 10. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

1. Mario Kart DS 2. Advance Wars: Dual Strike 3. Ghost Trick 4. Pokémon SoulSilver 5. Pokémon White 6. Tetris DS 7. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney 8. Elite Beat Agents 9. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon 10. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

Pro tip: Always keep your copy of Zero Escape: Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors tucked in bed with you.

DUDE Inazuma Eleven 2 and Galaxy are my two faves! I know what you mean.

Even then, there were some games I had to leave out anyway. Rhythm Heaven, BIS, Ace Attorney...it's rough lol anyway shoutout to Bakugan Battle Brawlers for being the Battle for Bikini Bottom of the DS in my eyes (as in, a good licensed game that the kids who grew up with the system loved)

Finally, someone mentions meteos. What an awesome game.

Oh damn! Okay - going to get it together this time and actually submit!

Pokémon Black / White Chrono Trigger New Super Mario Bros. Mario Kart DS Pokémon HeartGold Pokémon Platinum Flipnote Studio Pokémon White 2 / Black 2 Super Mario 64 Rhythm Heaven

just looking at these bluesky replies having BW and BW2 split up is going to really affect them making the top 10

1. Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations 2. Pokémon Black/White 3. Kirby Super Star Ultra 4. Bowser’s Inside Story 5. Pokémon Explorers of Darkness 6. Pokémon Platinum 7. Professor Layton and the Curious Village 8. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 9. Meteos 10. Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver

This was my first proper introduction to Pokémon. You could say I had an obsession. Still excellent games though!

Had a hard time putting this is an actual order but: 1 Ghost Trick 2 Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin 3 Pokémon Black & White 2 4 Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story 5 Ace Attorney Trials & Tribulations 6 Dragon Quest V 7 Mario Kart DS 8 Sonic Rush 9 Mega Man ZX Advent 10 Mega Man Star Force 3

1. Pokemon HGSS 2. Pokemon BW 3. Pokemon BW2 4. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorer's of Sky 5. Pokemon Platinum 6. New Super Mario Bros 7. Mario & Luigi Bowsers Inside Story 8. Mario Kart DS 9. Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars 10. Sonic Rush

i had to redo this list around 5 times for various different reasons lmao

My list: 1. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks 2. Kirby Super Star Ultra 3. Pokemon SoulSilver 4. New Super Mario Bros 5. Pokemon White 2 6. Mario Kart DS 7. Super Mario 64 DS 8. Pokemon Platinum 9. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days 10. Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded

There's only one greatest game

My Top 10 DS Games were: 1. Pokémon HGSS 2. Pokémon B2W2 3. Sonic Rush 4. Super Scribblenauts 5. Pokémon Conquest 6. The Legendary Starfy 7. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games 8. 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 doors 9. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story 10. Fossil Fighters Champions

The only console where i expect a couple of VNs on the top20 (maybe vita)

Immense lack of Kirby Super Star Ultra on a lot of lists I'm seeing. Understandable considering it's a remake, but it is often considered the best Kirby game.

1.Mario and Luigi Bowser’s Inside Story 2.Radiant Historia 3.PWAA Trials and Tribulations 4.Pokemon Black/White 5.Mario and Luigi Partners in Time 6.Pheonix Wright Ace Attorney 7.Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver 8.Super Mario 64 DS 9.Professor Layton and the Curious Village 10.New Super Mario Bros

No portrait of ruin? 🥺

1. 999 2. Mario Kart DS 3. Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver 4. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 5. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky 6. Super Mario 64 DS 7. Animal Crossing: Wild World 8. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow 9. Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime 10. Pokémon Platinum
