He can't win without the big name normies, just like Fetterman. Obama, Biden, Harris and Shapiro had to rally and campaign for him to drag his slopulist ass across the finish line.

You need to get better sources as to what the DSCC has given to El Sayed. He received a lot less than 30M. Also, a tepid endorsement is not the same as full throated support. Stevens has done nothing for El Sayed since she initially supported him.

I think you need to change sources concerning the amount of money the DSCC gave to Abdul. Nowhere near 30m. Also, an tepid endorsement is not the same as full throated support. Since Stevens initial endorsement, she has done little to support him.

I’m somewhat of a moderate and I want him to win! We don’t have to agree on everything but I agree with him WAY more than any Republican! Vote for him Michigan!

That doesn't surprise me. DSA is mostly posers. There are some quality people--AOC, for example. My sister volunteers to support local Palestinians and when her group tried to get help from the local DSA they were turned down due to not toeing the DSA party line on other issues!

yep, not exactly team players. Won't tolerate dissent or divergence, seem to exist in an entitled fantasyland of oppositional thinking and behavior, insulated from the consequences of their actions. Epistemic closure at its best. If and when they win elections, we'll see how they share credit.

If you’re going to use names like that for President Biden, why not reveal your own instead of hiding behind an alias? Easy to throw around insults when you can do it anonymously.

We need a 100 people like him in congress. We need real changes in this country. Centrist dems are scared this guy is going to call them out for taking the big corp and aipac money. Centrist dems no better than the gop.

lol Allison Gill reposted. she's been okay podcasting with Wajahat Ali who is consistently hand waving Hasan Pikers behavior and acting like Lefties aren't actually sabotaging

To be fair, it's not *most* progressives claiming that, just like it's not *most* centrists opposing him. It's the Extremely Online Left versus the Corporate Pundit Democrats. What they have in common is that niether of them measure success in terms of winning elections as much as "Zeitgeist."

The Stabbed-In-The-Back Theory of leftist politics is incredibly rampant and exists to prevent leftists from ever coping with the idea that they might not be very popular. When Abdul wins the left will abandon him just like they did AOC.

Yeah it’s frustrating. There’s an article I saw in my feed talking about AES being anti-establishment and how it’s attracting Trump voters and I rolled my eyes.

Look people should back their preferences in the primaries that’s what they are for. After that endorse & support whomever won. Just like you would want other voters to support your choice if they won.

Centrist are often ex republican who don't like changes toward the left. The switch from republican to democrat started when racist democrats also known as Dixiecrats became republicans. The fact that trump rebranded the KKK to MAGA and swithed to red hats makes the republicans look even worst.

White crackers can be very stupid sometimes. It is ridiculous to think that LePen would be running for office in the USA. As for the foreigner bullshit, I may be born in Québec but my family is from both countries and my native ancestors had been here for thousands of years before the brits invaded.

You must be high? LePen is the moron who runs for office in France not here. My moms Lapierre family arrived in Detroit in 1607, you are the fucking foreigner.

Charles, I am so far to the left I'm coming up on the right, but I'm fine with moderates, thats cool, just shut up and get in line. Corporate Dems are the issue for me, you know, the Neera Tanden's, Chuck Schumer's, Kirsten Gillibrand crowd. Fuck them, they are not an opposition constituency.

Oh yeah...and while I'm obviously not anywhere in the same league as any of the names above, I should note that after strongly opposing him in the primary, of this morning *I've* raised *over $23,000* for Abdul as well.

I have blocked several of these people for harassing me simply for saying voting Dem is better than not voting lmao and I'm a socialist

It's not progressives. It's the terminally online left which is heavily astroturfed by bots and bad actors. Who knows how many are actually real people.

The same reason we couldn't get a woman of color elected President. Bigotry. Being a Dem Socialist is not a bad thing. I never thought that I would say I was a Progressive. I've always considered myself a moderate til 10 yrs ago. Now I'm a Progressive & I think Michigan's best bet is El-Sayed 🗳️🇺🇸

at this point he’s the only bet . . . cause of the choices people mad. And FYI he was one of the contributors to Michigan going for Trump. He raised his profile as an anti establishment “leave it blank” “fighter” so. . .

I see this in Florida, there are certainly some higher level party people who were rooting against a Nixon Senate primary win, but they have all endorsed or worked for her now. Had Vindman been the nominee I don’t think progressives would have been nearly as unanimous in their support.

I think both moderate and progressive Democrats have trouble fully appreciating that different places in the country will vote for different shades of Democrats and we all need to grow up and get along.

I don't think moderates are emotionally better about this but I DO think they tend to be more pragmatic and recognize that you don't have to like your coalition partners but you sure need them to gain power.

rather than "leftists saying this, It is probably right-wing media saying that leftists are saying this. They can't win on ideas so they will try to divide & conquer ride or die democrat

All his YouTube ads asking for donations are still griping about the DNC and others not supporting him in the primary. Real Team Players those DSA folks. Serious Fetterman vibes some days

He surely is one of theirs whether he claims them or not. The self named DSA 'progressives' have been playing this game since 2016. They have targeted every Dem leader & candidate since day one with slander & slogans blasted across their mass media, not to be part of the Dem Parry but to upend it.

You said so many wrong things that I don’t know where to start. He’s not a socialist. DSA stands for democratic socialists of America. They endorsed him because he has good policies that align with their beliefs.

And every Dem with a lick of sense would at minimum distance themselves from a toxic, self-interested vandalous influencer who might hurt their chances of defeating any Republican at any time, much less now given the current threat. DSAers are dead-enders like MAGA.

This 3rd Party are basically doing to the once united Dem Party, what Sarah Palin's hard Right Tea Party did to splinter the once reasonable Republucan Party . They have no actual policies of their own with creds to prove, so they rise by debasing hits, yet silent on recognition of Dems successes.

Schumer, Jeffries and all the other corporate Dems need to get out of the Democratic party. Because they're really not Democrats. They're effing traitors to the party.

Its simple because TRUTH and ACCOUNTABILITY is what terrifies these corrupt malcontents the most. Anybody who speaks the Truth is their enemy. We will speak and bring the Truth and ACCOUNTABILITY in overwhelming massive numbers at the ballot box in November and going forward.

They can't have those powerhouse DeMocraTs moving in & claimng 'their' DSA selected candidate, since the goal is to grow their exclusive club within the Dem party & take it over. They've been doing this shit since they leeched onto the Dem Party for clout, cuz they had none of their own TeaParty2.0

We must change. Change is usually painful. It's not easy. But to live and thrive, we must constantly change. Constantly. The Buddha called it "impermanence" but it's constant.

Everyone who is not an abject racist wants El Sayed to lose. Everyone who stands against Jew Hatred and bigoty wants El Sayed to lose. Everyone who respects the integrity of nation states wants El Sayed to lose. Why do you want El Sayed, the Trump clone, to win?

Where the fuck do you think the $30 MILLION spent by the DSCC to help him win came from? And I have no clue whether Jeffries has formally endorsed him, nor do I give a shit whether he has or not.

Because they took too long to endorse him. And they haven’t been as enthusiastic in their support as they should be. And they’re falling into the right wing media framing of his policies. He’s not their preferred establishment candidate and it shows.

They have to maintain their "stabbed in the back" fantasy if he loses because the alternative is that their politics are so unappealing that they can't even overcome a huge blue wave.

Or it could be his primary was one of the most expensive in our history thanks to establishment ally AIPAC. If moderates are so appealing why can’t they build coalitions that grow or maintain legislative majorities?

Especially because I can guaran-fucking-tee that if Stevens, Whitmer, McMorrow, Harris, Obama, et al had refused to endorse, that particular sect of the left would be complaining none of them have endorsed him so clearly want him to lose. It's just impossible to please them.

This is a disingenuous take. Only a minority of leftists are saying this. Also there are some moderates that want Abdul to lose. But I guess this is your attention grabber to get more clicks. It worked.
