That's very interesting! I note, though, that this is not a court decision or interpretation. It is a decree by the DoD general counsel, attempting to strike a "balance" between what the law says and what they want to do. I hope this can be investigated.

We know how these camps turn out.. Nazi Germany started building and sending one race specifically to the camps in 1933. This was 1945. When a Democratic Senator arrived to view the outcome. (no they were not given due process, and yes all were considered criminals and vermin)

You know. It is against the Geneva Convention to use prisoners for military labor or photography. Since Krasnov deported this gang (including people not in the gang) using a War act I guess this is now a war crime...send her to the Hague with the Russians killing Ukrainian civilians.

They always run concentration camps outside the US because what's happening there would be unlawful. See Guantanamo as another example. Or CIA illegal prisons.
