We really have to start asking why we are paying taxes to a government to cut programs that help people and elevate communities while giving corporations tax breaks so they can pay a sh!tty wage that forces people onto the government programs they are cutting. It's a viscious cycle.

Also hurts farmers since about 25% of SNAP funds go to purchase their crops. GOP doesn’t really care though since they take the rural vote for granted and then repeatedly crush them with policy (tariffs, fuel/fertilizer cost from Iran war, etc.).
