"starting to feel bad for Natalie Harp" is a real problem and you should get treated for it

Just to lay bare the sexism of infantilizing a woman because she's evil: ask them if they feel bad for Elon Musk. I don't, but he's the son of a neglectful at best father, may have been bullied in grade school, and seems to suffer from some mental health problems including addiction.

Absolutely. This woman is an agent of chaos and directly assisting in the destruction of our country. I'll feel bad when her prison sentence is too short.

I'm comfortable with my commitment to a.) holding her responsible for every vile tweet Trump sends out and b.) mercilessly ridiculing her for literally every single thing she does.

What's to feel bad about? Creepy stalker chick is getting her way. Most creepy stalkers do not succeed in trapping their prey. Or so I've heard. Looks like Natalie has gotten the Donald firmly entangled in her web. She's a role model for creeps everywhere.

Yep. Although I know very little about her, there are enough red flags—her delusion and desperation mixed with his manipulation and cruelty—that I worry she could be suicidal soon, if not already. She reminds me of Eva Braun.

Stephen Miller has been dog shit since he was 14 years old though. Natalie Harp started worshiping Trump after she survived cancer and credited Trump for approving the treatment. She wasn’t a fan girl before then.

Why feel bad for her when she can quit and use the excuse of following more feminine roles? She's a grown adult with agency. She CHOSE to be in that position knowing full well what kind of a person the orange is. None of the BS was hidden from her. She gave full on consent to that treatment.

Why should we feel bad for her? Genuinely curious why? She’s a sycophant to the president and an extremely powerful person who controls his information consumption. We live in a democracy with democratic oversight, we deserve to know what our “leader” is doing

I feel bad for her because she obviously has some serious mental health issues that need treatment. I get not having sympathy though and don't really care what happens to her, but the empathetic part of me feels like she needs an intervention and some serious therapy.

I don’t care about Natalie. I don’t care about any person who is in DJTurds pathetic evil greedy corrupt cult. I believe in punishment for all of them.

Unpopular, but I came close to feeling a hair's width sorry for the slobbering, orange old pedofool she caught hook, line, and sinker. George W. Bush didn't fall for her stalker crap, ha ha. #NatalieHinckleyJr

She has exactly what she wants, she's exactly where she wants to be. She is extraordinarily successful. She loves all of this heretofore unimaginable evil and is a truly soulless, evil person herself.

I dunno, I don't think "this conventionally attractive blonde white woman who has spent years working to gain unparalleled access to and influence over the most powerful man in the world is somehow not fully responsible for her choices" is the feminist position some people seem to think it is

I've seen people who had similar patriarchal dominionist Christian Nationalist fundie homeschool upbringings say they feel sorry for her. But then, they left their cults, and she didn't. By the time you're 35, it's not all just because of your childhood.

I dunno man. She’s kind of at the point of “obsessed fan who kills someone.” They still need to go to jail, but you can’t help but wonder what would have happen if they’d got help sooner. Or she’s a spy and a great actor, also possible.

But he saved her life by federally authorizing non-FDA approved treatments 2 months after she started it an off-label but FDA approved treatment, you can’t deny that

Getting a role in the White House is not something that just happens to you, she worked harder than most people would even think of working to get where she is. The White House has hundreds of thousands of applicants and accepts maybe 400 of them. She is exactly where she wants to be.

That's the thing I'm most pissed about, when she was first talked about, before all this, they made her sound like some dopey kid just out of college who sat around printing nice articles for Donnie, and meanwhile all of the WH press corp knew she was way more than that and said nothing.

She absolutely was either central to posting the “the Obamas are monkeys” video or was at least right next to him when he did it, and’s said “right on, they are like that” and then she curled up on a couch to sleep because it was 1am

It's not feeling bad. It's just starting to understand that our culture is ruining us. It's getting the tragedy of it all. We don't grow our children right. We don't care about integrity. We've lost our inherent value to others manipulation. All we are attending to now is the results, not our flaws.

She chooses to work closely with the worst person on earth and she enables and even pushes the envelope on the worst that he says and does. I don't think I've even seen stuff directed at Harp the *person* that wasn't actually about her professional role and access. The concern BS is embarrassing.

...So legit yes actually? Judging from some of the people doing it and their backgrounds, it feels kinda like "this person has been in this lady's head, and they feel it". Went through the same thing with Nancy Mace myself.

I think she is a sad, troubled woman. Our government is failing people like her and the rest of us. No legitimate administration would have allowed this person in this position. She is dangerous to herself and probably others.

Stephen Miller is only 5 years older than her and just as big of a weirdo racist nut job but I don't see too many people going "oh, maybe we're being to hard on ol' steve".

She's attracted to a narcissist abuser with dementia. So I feel sorry for her in the sense that she's likely to be abused. And since she is drawn to an abuser, I wonder if it was in her family, too.

Saying she needs to get mental health help and that she just might snap at any moment under the pressure and do something criminally insane is NOT "feeling sorry for Natalie Harp". It is in fact stating the obvious. And in no way does it insinuate that any of it is acceptable in a federal employee.

I kinda do! Not because of the Ossoff comment. It's after reading her letters. She comes across as an abused child. Her need for love from a man who treats her like shit is upsetting.

I cannot imagine sparing a single human feeling other than disgust on a Trump toady. Literally billions of human beings more deserving of pity or compassion on this earth any day of the week.

Quick reminder to those not paying attention: Natalie Harp makes $150K/year working in the White House to disseminate racist, fascist, xenophobic propaganda and fawn all over Trump. She's also 35 years old, not 15. Shades of Eva Braun, but with agency and power.

I understand feeling bad for the brainwashing that turns girls into handmaidens but she is doing some serious dangerous enabling here and must be called out for it.

I love old white men , that manic Scott Jennings on CNN in particular, opining on protecting young working women. As a woman who has been in the workforce for 40 years, Natalie Harp is very unprofessional and an embarrassment. she’s also 35 years old and should know better.

There has never been a better illustration of lookism Of course any decent person should despise Natalie Harp & everything she has worked to achieve. But people like Siskind assume a young & attractive woman might not be ALL bad, which they'd never assume about Stephen Miller

Someone I really admire—very intelligent/anti-Trump—always kind of had soft spot for Ivanka. Idk Siskind, but seemingly New York white women of a certain class can put themselves in these monsters’ shoes.

If anything, being a well-heeled, college educated White woman makes this all even less excusable. There are a million opportunities open to them that don’t involve flushing the country down the toilet.

I'm not sure if "feeling bad for her" articulates my emotions after reading the text of her letters..."grave sobriety" is more accurate...shs has deep mental illness, and clearly there is no vetting of people allowed in the innermost orbit of the POTUS...that's disturbing and frightening.
