Also- what is there to learn? You plug in a prompt it spits out slop you edit. Nonprofits are basically being forced to use it because they are cutting our funding and expanding our workload and it sucks. But there’s no real learning curve.

As it was happening, I wondered which celebrities took part of their pay in crypto and held on to it. Larry David? I feel like that was a cash transaction. The stupid ones probably took equity and or crypto in lieu of compensation.

Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton being gifted Bored Apes by the creators in undisclosed ads, which Justin completely forgot to sell because he doesn't deal with crypto wallets or crypto and now can't be sold for any value.

as times gone on, one of the things I hate about the ai bs is how these people think the ai is THEIR talent. No, you just willing replaced yourself with a machine, dumbass.

NFT's, blockchain, all of these things were fads that matured into mundane things. Sometimes they matured into black holes that make money disappear. Celebrities have a track record of knowing jack about technology trends and their honeymoon period, which AI is certainly in.

if i'm remembering correctly it was pretty shortly before the whole thing crashed and burned, in retrospect a sign of a flailing industry grasping onto anything and everything in desperation to keep the party going another hour. wonder if there's a lesson in that

Me: I have been fighting AI for a while. Since a lawyer like Reese Witherspoon is on the AI bandwagon, count me in. My sensible side: Just because she was in Legally Blond and Legally Blond 2 Electric Bottled Bleach doesn't mean she is a lawyer. Me: It doesn't mean she's NOT a lawyer.
