Gonna need some logistics because this is fascinating when you start down the rabbit hole: how many trucks does this require for the dogs? For the buns? What’s the condiment situation require? How fresh are they/what’s the avg production time? I do not want to know anything about the restrooms.

This is going to be a dumb question, but I ask it in earnest. Does this have anything to do with the social media trend where people eat nine hot dogs and nine beers, one each inning?

Over last couple of years this has just been a running promotion at Jays games on Tuesdays. People come dressed up in hotdog costumes and stuff. The old record of 84,731 was just set last month. They were at over 50k in the third inning yesterday.
