Why provide all these ever increasing police arms and armor, when the rules of engagement call for a less forward, slower posture? “To serve and protect“ has become “to duck and cover”.

The murders were, in cop fashion, spun from the very first press conference to make heroes out of cowards. bsky.app/profile/rude...

The initial report from Mark Bruley, the Brooklyn Park police chief, was that the cops had arrived as Boelter was leaving the house. A heroically close call. The actual story--that the murders happened after cops shot at him, missed, and then he escaped, is much worse. www.cnn.com/2025/06/15/u...

31 minutes after Hortman was spotted by the drone, but a whopping 62 minutes after cops first arrived on the scene. They arrived at 3:35 am and went in to get her at 4:37 am.

The entire point of them showing up at the Hortman house was to do a welfare check on Rep. Melissa Hortman. Why? B/c Sen. Hoffman & his family were being rushed to hospitals. It was the middle of the night & her husband was there, so the assumption should have been that she was home & injured.

It's sure nice to know the people who are supposed to protect you will sit and watch you die for 30 minutes. Were they part of the plot to have a Democrat politician killed? Always sending the wrong people to jail. It's why Trump never goes there

If it was a police officer who was down, they wouldn’t have waited That should be the standard: is it too dangerous to go in after one of your own?

How many of us watched Bojack Horseman to the end? How long did he wait to assist Sarah Lynn despite knowing she was dying? 17 minutes. This rightfully earned him widespread hatred. These fuckers waited twice as long. They are just as complicit in her murder as the man who actually did the deed.

No more special privileges for cops: no more qualified immunity, no more carve outs in gun legislation, no more face masks and blacked out badge numbers. If they are going to leave a state representative for half an hour they don't get to pretend to be badasses. They can make do like everyone else.

All that gear and not a single man will wear it and use it for good. It's all for show and to protect their asses because they are too afraid to do their job. So they just stand around until one of them figures out that it's safe for them to actually do something. To "Protect and Serve" is dead...
