Mike Rogers: "[El-Sayed] did not disavow the Muslim Brotherhood." Bash: "He did. He said, 'Sure, yeah.'" Rogers: "I don't know why the press is so eager to protect this guy."

Michigan here 🙋‍♂️ Rogers and his wife binkie are just a couple of grifting bigot trash. Rogers literally has Neo Nazis excitedly promoting him!

TBH, these GOPer interviews by CNN hv become a joke. GOPers follow one script in these "interviews"....make baseless claims, ignore the question(s) asked, bash the Democrat, the Left or Democrats in general..get off a campaign ad...then leave.

Didn’t want to change his talking points after his minion went to ask the stupid question and got completely owned

I listened to this interview. Rogers is exactly what's wrong with this country. All he did was basically imply sayed was a terrorist. And a bunch of word salad about jobs and economy. He is a Trump puppet in on the corruption.

What are we doing here. Ask anyone that claims El-Sayed didn’t disavow *why* he needs to disavow. It’s like we all watched the video and learned nothing.

I am not a native speaker, but when asked whether he disavows the Muslim Brotherhood, I clearly heard El-Sayed say: "Yes, absolutely." What a dirty liar that Mike Rogers is.

Why doesn't he disavow lying? Why doesn't he promote telling the truth instead of being a liar? Is that not allowed in the republican party anymore? That's a joke. I know it's not.

Has Mike Rogers disavowed the KKK yet? Mike Rogers is white, and only white people are KKK members. Has Mike disavowed pedophiles, since most pedophiles are white men? I haven't heard Mike disavow Hitler, so maybe he is a Nazi? Republicans and the people who vote for them are fucking idiots!

He totally knew AES was going to get asked that question yesterday, so had his Sunday interviews set up to talk about it. He did not expect it to go the way that it did, so has nothing to say except to lie and pretend that what happened didn’t happen.

There have always been liars like Rogers. It's on us to recognize them for who they. Difficult to do, however, when journalists don't push back. Or when faux journalists just hand the microphone to the interviewee, and then "knowingly" nod there heads at half-truths.

Mike Rogers says El-Sayed refused to disavow the Muslim Brotherhood. El-Sayed, on camera yesterday: “Yes, absolutely.” When Dana Bash corrects Rogers, he accuses the press of protecting his opponent. Correcting a demonstrably false claim isn't media bias. It's journalism.

Why do they all do the "talk loudly over anyone" until they just want you to shut up? He lies. In order to protect his rubbish argument, he spews hate. I listened to El Sayed saying his side of this subject. Mike Rogers is disgusting. The "ha,ha" smug snigger should open him to defamation suits.

A politician intentionally lying and distorting the truth really should have severe legal repercussions. Decades in prison. Allowing propaganda and lies without accountability is why we're in this situation.

Ask Mike Rogers to denounce the KKK, Patriot Front and every other Christian nationalist organization in the US.

I donated to El-Sayed's campaign but I am still very concerned that he has not more strongly denounced the October 7th attacks or affirmed Israel's right to exist, even within its 1948 limits. Let's go forward with eyes open. Would hate to lose the Senate over this.

Is the Muslim Brotherhood in the room with us right now? Did they storm the capitol and smear their poop on the walls? Did they shoot up an elementary school this week? Did they start a war in Iran that has tanked the economy?

SCOOP: 'Tommy' from the now-viral exchange with Abdul El-Sayed is Thomas Teepell, a former staffer for Republican Senator Josh Hawley with close ties to Christian Nationalist Sean Feucht. He's the son of a former Bobby Jindal staffer whose consultant work was instrumental in getting Hawley elected.

And yet he still doesn't know jack shit when it comes to the Constitution. All he could do for a response was repeat "because I haven't heard you say...". El Sayed handled it beautifully with getting little Tommy to admit that he thinks his Christian religion should influence the Constitution. Doh!

I hope someone more tech savvy than I am will post that great video of El Sayed interecting with a heckler accusing him of not disavowing the Muslim brotherhood. It's a whole lesson - and yes he does.

You’re trying to gin something up, you loser, but those of us in minority groups are looking at you as a desperate, shameful thirsty toady, just looking to get that seat in the geriatric Senate that you’ve always craved. If you have to resort to bigotry, racism, homophobia…all worth it for the win?

Yeah well, Mr. Rogers (with apologies to Fred Rogers!), I don't know why Republicans keep pushing bald-faced liars like you to public office. It's as if there were no members of the Republican Party who aren't lying sacks of shit.
