Post

Deep cut. Well done.

Plex management is stoked about this story. They might even be able to swing $40 after all the press they’ve received.

Btw, that's The Onion, so may be 35$ in total

I'll give $38.00.

Now that's funny!!!😆😆😆🤣😂

One can only hope.

And that's not a "per share" bid.

I bid $35.01. Top that.

Joke's on Warner Bros., I've already got all their stuff on Plex.

$35?!! Wow! Lol

I kind of hate what Plex has become, but I'd 100% enjoy seeing Warner take this (fake or otherwise) just to spite the other two. Sadly it's even more of a thumb in the face to traditional theaters than either of the other deals would be.

i think if we work together we can raise that to $50 and the copy of pokemon white 2 (no case) i have in my drawer

🚨Breaking: 🚨 Bittorrent ups the bid to $80.43 for an annual Nord VPN subscription.

What’s the Onion bid going to be? Are there any $2 bills lying around your office?

Ha! This one made my husband and I laugh so hard 🤣

Global Tetrahedron ups the ante with a bid of $37.25, a bus pass, and half a pack of smokes.

I have ripped the entire Spongebob series when the big 300 episode thing came out. I ended up having duplicated disk, delaminated disks, and disks already experiencing disk rot... Right out if the package... I ended up pirating all the episodes I was missing because I should had already had them.

Mhz choice is offering 6 euros.

You miss the shots you don’t take

🤞

It would be more biting if the title was "PLEX offers to sell User Private Watch Data in exchange for Warner Bros. Discovery."

Right? I thought the app just appeared fully formed out of a hole in the ground.

Onion should bid $6 or $7

Lol. Pluto TV. $36

Me with my lifetime membership

not worth it

In that case i bid $50..!!!

I'd rather it be them lol

Overvalued, Plex.

I’m prepared to bid as high as $117.58

I cackled.

And I'm cutting my own throat

I’d be rooting for Plex if they actually placed a bid.

Plex, bless your heart.

not if i submit a $36 bid first

I already paid for a lifetime Plex pass ages ago. I've done my part.

I have approximately 4 Halloween fun sized Snickers bars I can add to the deal.

I almost fell for this with how dumb the negotiations have been.

35 cents and half a starburst, my final offer

🤣🤣🤣 I had to read that a few times! My mind kept adding million, them billion, but nope, just $35 bucks🤣🤣🤣🤣

I can double that <psst…someone lend me $35>

Wait until Pornhub puts in their bid!!!

Jellyfin are doing an amazing job of picking up the slack for the enshittification of Plex.

I chipped in $10 so it's $45 now.

@cranz.bsky.social

lol that’s my favorite headline you guys made this year

Love plex. The best license I ever got. It allows content that doesn't line the pockets of the worst people.

I'll offer $40.

I know this doesn't include linear channels, but I'd love to have discovery shark week on plex.

I put in a bid to Warner Bros for six dollars and a Casio

Quibi bids -$4

Yeah I'd believe it.

Dot Warner, aka Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bo Besca III, is known to have expensive tastes.

That checks

Netflix offered more money I thought

Well there goes my bid of $8.27 (in pennies) and four ketchup packets from McDonalds.

I think they have a shot.

Bringing back memories of Lorne Michaels and his check for The Beatles.

Not per share. Just $35.

This is insulting. With the new PlexPass pricing, they can afford at least $50

Can this really compete with Vinegar Syndrome’s offer of a crisp $50 bill and whatever’s left in the office snack drawer?

Its killing us...

Plex is dead to me

It feels great to be the exact kind of sicko this joke is targeted to

😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

"Dammit!" Sincerely, Tubi

Price for life!

lol

Not to be outdone Quibi has also placed a bid, but only if WB movies are streamed in portrait mode.

Better than making a huge conglomerate much, much bigger. Especially since the big buyers are moving everything farther right as super spin-doctors more than the fox propaganda network.

I mean if you’re using Plex right all of Warner Bros is already on there for free

Next: Lululemon

Plex adds Warner Bros. to Mergarr

I think I'll be sticking with jellyfin

🤞🤞

Be careful, that is how Elon ended up owning Twitter. Everything is a joke until someone takes you seriously.
