This report is genuinely overwhelming, in terms of the evidence both against Trump and of a ham-fisted cover-up. Including one instance in which Ghislaine Maxwell was actually about to mention one of Trump's young accusers and Todd Blanche told her to stop talking. The media response is "yawn."

19 years ago, an ambitious dream to bring an iconic book series into the world of video games came to life with the release of The Witcher. It was the start of an unforgettable path, which wouldn't have been possible without our friends at BioWare.

From lending us their Aurora Engine and sharing their knowledge, to giving us a spot at their booth at E3, their support helped turn our vision into Geralt’s first interactive adventure. Thank you to everyone who has walked the Path with us from the very beginning. Happy 19th anniversary, witchers!

Just FYI 'cause she's not on social media, Jennifer is kind of stunned by this. We're big fans of the N.K. here. Edit: obvs, I'm not speaking for Hale here, who is awesome but I don't live with her.

I don't even know how to ask anymore, or know to bother do so... I'm told by those close to me i need to keep doing so for hopesake. But I mean I don't know how to sit here n agongizing pain and ask for any of this, I'm tired of feeling less then human by society... I feel dehumanized this point.

Politico wrote up Zohran playing basketball with the uncovering-a-big-scandal tone the same day the NYTimes wrote up "credible allegation that The President of the United States raped a woman" as a political strategy story. Broken media in a nutshell

Matt says this because he hates the idea of non-fascists working together in any capacity which would limit the influence of the fascists he's fine carrying water for.

Yes well it does require things like “empathy” and possessing a basic understanding that all of our lives are interconnected

As someone whose first shipped game as a writer was Mass Effect and is now using Yarn Spinner, knowing that the team was inspired by a game I was a tinny part of is pretty cool. Here's to more stories, wherever they come from.

On the loss of BioWare 💔

Also, if NDP BC results say anything, it's that alienating your base and taking their votes for granted is a surefire way to lose. A lot of the critiques towards non-fashy candidates still come from a place of good faith in that they want to stop non-fascists and conceding to fascists doesn't work.

It's baffling to me that some of you are obsessed with strangers on the internet who are saying "this is not good enough" about someone's politics. If you are worried about a candidate's electoral chances and you think that matters, phone bank for them or something.

Not everyone should be satisfied with what's on offer right now. There has to be a bigger horizon than what anyone's going to get out of the midterms. Stop telling people to shut up about their rights. It helps no one. Do your work, whatever that is right now.

I’ve never heard a single example of a trans girl sexually assaulting a cis female teammate, let alone dozens of them, but I’ve heard of Larry Nassar, and yet.

Stuff like this is endearing personally. I understand I'm already an El-Sayed fan in his race, but I appreciate the humility it takes to laugh about this and share it with others.

Kat Abughazaleh@katmabu.bsky.social

Abdul is trying to tell you something VERY important:

It feels really weird that this is framed as a good thing. I understand analysis paralysis but also if you have more than 3 things to call out for your kiddos (I hope so) it's okay if it isn't the perfect three.

David Gura@davidgura.bsky.social

cool, cool

The NDP Party in BC got dunked on in this election despite the Conservatives getting less votes than they did the year before. You absolutely cannot take your base for granted. If they can't be bothered to come out and vote for you, you are not going to make up the difference flipping voters.

Hi. I, a trans woman, am the Executive Producer of this show. I wrote the question. He called trans girls men. He has now said it in three different places in the past week.

BioWare's loss has impacted our team as many of us spent over a decade working on their games. While we'll never be able to recapture the glory days exactly as they were, you can find some of the former BW team are still here, still making games, trying to do our roots proud.

You could have just said nothing and focused on the actual bad things that Paxton has done of which there is so so so so much.

Team Talarico@teamtalaricohq.bsky.social

Ken Paxton voted against a state budget to increase the salary of police officers. Nearly every other member of the Texas legislature voted yes.

Appreciate this sentiment and while I left BioWare 4 years ago, so many memories in my 13 years there, and I left on good terms. Thank you for your kind words and appreciate your own virtual world creations for us to enjoy! 🫡

Owlcat Games@owlcatgames.bsky.social

BioWare has always inspired us, and it's hard to say goodbye to our idols. Thank you for everything, BioWare. Many of us wouldn’t be in the games industry without your legacy.

lot of valid criticisms in the game's steam reviews about it being shallow, but also it costs the same as a movie ticket, i had a fun couple of hours running through it.

99% sure it was Return of the Jedi. Though I suppose I can't be 100% because I would have been like 3 lol. I definitely remember Black Cauldron - and not sure if I remember anything prior to that.

First film you saw at the cinema. The real first one, not the pretend one you tell people! Mine: The Empire Strikes Back, 1980, Wigan. We were near the front and I can still remember how massive the AT-ATs looked, looming over us out of the snow :) Film, year, where, and whatever stuck with you.

Very sad to hear about Bioware shutting down, Mass Effect is still my favorite series of all time. I carved several pumpkins for it, this one won a little carving contest they ran on Facebook some time around Mass Effect 2, I still remember comments from people thinking it was photoshopped!

I started at BioWare on a work visa from the US, and earn my Canadian citizenship just a few years ago. This is an extremely bad way to frame its closure, and an intentional misunderstanding of how/why immigration works.

Where was I. Ah yes, Dragon Age Awakening! I actually didn't spend a whole lot of time on this - it wasn't that different than working on DAO. Level Designers and Level Artists already had some solid work and aside from robo voices for voice lines and whatnot, it was just playing an incomplete game.
