CPI isn't a big deal unless you're one of those rare people who purchases medical care, vehicles, computers/software, or toys. Might also be a problem for people who earn money instead of already having money, but those people should really try having money instead.

It's possible we may see the second set of local criminal charges leveled against an ICE officer for actions taken during an enforcement operation. In this case, it's for this incident (video posted by @houstonchronicle.com) of an ICE officer appearing to deliberately run down a fleeing suspect.

Some people arrested by ICE in the Twin Cities then ordered released by a federal judge are being arrested again as they try to leave detention. One man said ICE agents taking him back into custody told him the judge was wrong to order his release.

As completely deranged and fucked up and wrong as he is, I gotta say it is stressful to have the damn president of the United States constantly attacking my state of Minnesota, sending violence, calling for violence, putting all lives at risk, killing our neighbors. Like it really takes a toll.

Turning state violence into a public spectacle is a very fascist move BTW.

This is, like so much else in the second Trump administration, a content creation opportunity, but live streaming an execution of a guy in a wheelchair to make content is just so beyond the pale that I can’t really think clearly about it. Maybe tomorrow.
