In my rec room era. Probably writing and discarding a skeet as we speak. In, USA I like to make stuff, paint stuff and take pictures of my pets and yard pets! I don't really DM and I really don't crypto.

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

Reading the Times, the Atlantic, etc, you have to start noticing how much they influence the permission structure for neoliberals, centrists, and technocrats. It's all working out the neurosis of accepting fascistic capitalism an inch at a time and framing it as reasonable and inevitable.

we understood the algorithm and through a WhatsApp channel we coordinated how to wreck it in our favor. regain visibility for our cause. people ~needed~ to know what was at stake if Flávio won

I still don't know why we waived Taelon Peter and traded Kam Jones. Last night would have sucked even with them, but esp with our relatively shallow guard depth, I just don't get why we made room for the Smith kid when he's ages behind Kam or Taelon in development with no obviously higher ceiling.

I happened to notice an early voting location is pretty close to Oldest school. On a whim, just now I voted early. Totally smooth, well staffed, in and out experience. I've never voted early in my life. Doesn't hurt to keep the algorithm guessing. 🙂

Trying to edit text in the alt field on android is? I'm either more dyslexic than usual or twice I've had it inputting my text backwards. Typed black, get kcalb. Maybe I need to update the app. Like it's fine if I get the word order right the first try, but if I accidentally a word? Good luck. 😬

Hooked up a new switch at work yesterday and since it racked in, I've got the optional feet on my desk. Like instead of trying to talk me into a pop socket, if phone cases just started shipping with molded "feet" protruding like a mm or two from the back, I could just hang onto it?

Why I save posts 70%- I'm interested, but now is not the time. 20%- "You must be logged in to view this post." 10%- aimed for like button and missed.

If you go to the box score of a game on nba.com (not the app), you'll note that most of the categories will have values that are clickable and will take you to highlights for that particular player. Ex. if you click on Toppin's 3PA value of 9, it'll show you video of the 9 3-point attempts.

Not to take anything away from the Pelis, but I was surprised (derogatory) at Kelly Oubre last night. Guy looked way more in sync in preseason. Maybe they changed his job assignments to Nesmith's or something, but whatever was changed didn't seem to work out. Continued to be impressed with Q.

"We cannot get out. We cannot get out. They have taken the bridge and the second hall. The pool is up to the wall at West Gate. The Watcher in the Water took Óin. We cannot get out. The end comes soon. We hear drums... drums in the deep. They are coming"

Me waiting to pick up Youngest from band practice just got less boring.

This new tracking feature in the NBA app is wild. Look how closely it tracks the play here when shown side-by-side with an actual clip.

If you run a multinational corp who has outsourced virtually all IT responsibilities in every domain possible to save bucks and you get a ransom demand from a famous ransomware group? My advice as a user on your shitty network is to pay them. You don't have the people to fix it anymore.

There's a reason why this "totally unpredictable" alignment is coming into place after many of us were screaming it would happen for years. It's a traceable, understandable, predictable thing. Anyone saying otherwise either isn't paying attention or they're getting paid to do it.

The coverage spread to 60 Minutes, NBC, the New York Times, and more. Ivy has said the company received threats and hired security for its factory for several months. Exidy's official line was that players were hitting "gremlins," not humans.

The other trick is to get a PAC to buy up pallets of books, put them in gift bags for event attendees or offer "Donate $75 and get this book" incentives. All written off as a PR expense for the PAC and all that money gets funneled to the author via their oversized advance from publishers in on it.
