This week’s main story is about how more and more white nationalists, antisemites, and Nazi sympathizers seem to be integrating into the Republican Party, how some of them are currently running for office, and how old you can be for JD Vance to consider you “a very young boy.”

Do not speak to me of "barriers to entry". Every act of creation is slicing out a thin sliver of light from the existential darkness of the human condition. You not being able to pick up a fucking pencil and risk failing does not even register.

The political prisoner who smuggled in writing materials to tell their story to the world. The unhoused artist leaving their mark on the urban landscape specifically built to exclude them.

I will not accept an argument that art and creativity have been uniquely democratised in the last few years since the invention of genAI. What a disservice to human history. How little regard you must have for the billions of souls that struggled through unimaginable suffering to express themselves.

Please don’t trust the polls, y’all. They have been inaccurate AF way too often. Vote like we are 3% down in every race and we need every single vote to pull out a win. Bc I fear that may be more accurate. Vote like your life + liberty depend on it. Come hell or high water, get to the ballot box.

I once witnessed up close a man try to murder protesting children with his car in broad daylight. The expression of cold, determined rage is still haunting. You don’t do something like this by accident but our passive language around car violence allows the perpetrator and media to play dumb.

What happens when that company goes bankrupt after the tariffs are rule illegal again? Do they sell that private data to other companies? Incorporate their AI into some other AI? Every item you purchase from overseas is going to become part of that black box, and who knows who that data goes to?

Everyone seems not to know about it. It's crazy. Like do you really want to get entered into an AI black box along with photos of all your purchases? By some unknown 3rd part for profit company? That works hand-in-hand with the government? Red flag after red flag here, and everyone is sleepwalking.

The US seems to be funneling ALL international parcels through a handful of 3rd party AI apps that you have to pay to use. It feels very scammy, and I wonder if citizens know that everything they order online is now required to be photographed and fed into LLMs... It's a huge red flag.
