Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

It's hard to fathom that anyone thinks ICE can be reformed or retrained. ICE needs to be dismantled and then cauterized so it can't grow back. #AbolishICE

💥 ICE drag mom & teen daughter out of hospital room—in middle of being treated after car accident. Still wearing hospital gowns. Both victims of car collusion, with asylum case pending in good standing & valid work permit. Grace Calero 39, & Giulianna Carriel 19, from Ecuador.

His thoughts are like farts. Just can’t hold them in and they stink.

Sen. John Kennedy on Trump's blatant reflecting pool lies: "The president says it was caused by vandals. I don't know if he really believes that or it's part of his political messaging or he's just thinking out loud ... he grows anxious when he has an unexpressed thought."

yeah unfortunately the point at which security agents started manufacturing crimes to so they could arrest people to support the delusions of a single personalist ruler was the point at which the story stopped being silly heavy-handed metaphor and started being of real concern

i think the reflecting pool has gone from “haha what a dumb ass” to “appointing a horse to the senate” level of story here

The thing that people are also is missing is whether or not the shooting was real and unstaged, the regime THEMSELVES treated it like a staged event immediately after by using it to peddle a prepared speech about a ballroom. Whether or not it was real, THEY sold it to us for fake reasons.

Ruling: True. We can't believe a word that comes out of the Trump administration on any topic. Not even whether Iran has agreed to peace talks or how many missiles we have left. It's no wonder people assume he staged one or more of his assassination attempts.

The Editorial Board@editorialboard.bsky.social

One reason conspiracy theories are reaching bipartisan status may be because this man lies like he breathes, the press corps magnifies his lies, and no one knows what's true anymore. I'll leave it to @beyerstein.bsky.social to provide a ruling. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

Let's go Hungary. Orban loses after a 16 year old rule where he bled Hungary dry, tried to destroy its democracy, its universities, its free press all while using EU funds to build himself and his cronies mansions and stadiums. Orban can be defeated. Trump can be defeated. Keep fighting for hope.

If the estimates were right, there were about 9 million people at No Kings rallies today. That would mean this protest was THIRTY TIMES AS LARGE AS THE TEA PARTY PROTEST which we were told, over and over again, was a massively important sign that US politics had shifted dramatically to the right

Kevin M. Kruse@kevinmkruse.bsky.social

Again, the first Tea Party rallies in April 2009 -- heavily promoted in advance by Fox News -- only had about 300,000 attendees across 750 cities, but the media treated it like the Second American Revolution. There will be multiple *individual* No Kings rallies today that have more people at them.

How do you fix a situation where a corrupt president can have his allies make bogus lawsuits against our own government, and then direct his corrupted "Justice Department" to settle and shell out taxpayer money to his corrupt friends? We need to start thinking about writing laws around this *now*.

I feel like we typically see these sorts of completely outraged opinions from federal judges a couple times a year across the whole country, maybe a little more often in last few years. Now, in cases stemming from Trump's immigration crackdown, judges are ringing the alarm bell several times a week.

This has nothing to do with fraud. The agents Trump allegedly sent to investigate fraud are shooting protesters and arresting children. His DOJ is gutting the U.S. Attorney’s Office and crippling their ability to prosecute fraud. And every week Trump pardons another fraudster.
