That's not because of AI. That's a company eating an upfront cost to 'Right Size' their company for an incoming Recession.

How is People’s magazine doing better coverage than most legacy media? people.com/former-miss-...
i am inviting anyone from a legacy media organization to explain to me why the house judiciary dems report on trump’s epstein’s ties and multiple allegations of rape isn’t worthy of extensively reporting on. i’m serious. i want to understand.

I'm revoking my endorsement of @proton.me, effective immediately. What a slap in the face from a company I thought was on the side of the people. I'm going to begin looking at alternatives after i get my next video done
“These re-interviews are consequential,” a leaked email seen by 404 Media reads.

my experience with ai code is that it works; but that maintainability and readability are where ai code falls short imo anything ive experimented with is an unreadable and unmaintainable mess. it's commented, but its the slop comments that you write when your boss mandates x comments per y locs

So much to say about Brazil, not least of which is the role that Erika Hilton, a Black trans leader and most voted woman politician in Brazil, played in mobilizing folks for Lula. She was behind the critical, concrete, economic promise of shorter work-week. theprint.in/feature/erik...

In the last few weeks i've been bombarded with emails from people who have minor tech support problems. ChatGPT is telling them to email me, writing their emails, and compiling "evidence packets" after convincing them they have stumbled on a major story: www.404media.co/chatgpt-keep...

i didn't read the post; i just saw the words "feminist claptrap" and was like "yeah he would be"
Look, I'm an evolutionary physiologist, ok? I believe in biology, not this sentimental feminist claptrap. Women are biologically optimized to be nurturers. They run households, they don't fight lions. That's why they're the only ones we can trust to govern our complex, industrialized civilization.

Ignore the online losers. Lift each other up in your communities 😊💖
I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

A wrong lesson to take from the Brazilian elections is that voting can defeat fascism. That's not true at all. Democracy is an incredibly frail system and the US almost took over the country through it. ORGANIZED PEOPLE DEFEATED FASCISM
It's another day, so let's talk about this. First of all, Lula didn't win the election alone. He won because more than half of the country FREAKED THE FUCK OUT and built a popular movement that organized several actions both irl and online.
