👀👆Uncomfortable truths for his hoodwinked “supporters”; corporate interests and 🇷🇺

Indeed. In fact the right wing media will be able to take credit for a sizeable proportion of how we as a society failed at the most critical times ...

When the story of why humanity didn't stop climate change is written, it will feature front pages like this. Even as the skies blacken with climate change-induced wildfires, right wing media continue their relentless crusade against measures to tackle it.

A barrister represents his clients in court. Clients who are political dissidents. He now faces criminal prosecution for doing so. Not Turkey. Not Egypt. Not Russia. England. Astonishing, deeply disturbing, and part of a long slide towards authoritarianism. www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...

Trump claimed his tariffs would bring about a golden age of American manufacturing. Yet since his re-election, we've lost 75,000 manufacturing jobs. Over the same time period, Biden had created 625,000.

Last night game #FIFAWorldCup Iran 🇮🇷drew 2-2 with New Zealand 🇳🇿, but some moments are bigger than football. Seeing the tribute brought back the memory of those schoolgirls whose lives were cut short. Every American should be forced to watch this. -Video before the game - team Iran getting ready

Starmer is naïve, poorly advised and uninspiring as a leader. But he is not the Labour Government. It (thousands of civil servants led by dozens of elected MP's) has been getting on with the business of running the country whilst the PM's X factor-style media trial plays out. And to good effect.

Any other politician. Any other party. This would be wall to wall media scrutiny. Farage and Reform shouldn’t be able to move without this being thrown at them. Venal brokers to crypto billionaires and fossil fuel magnates. A corrupt man leading a corrupt party. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Trump just confused Greenland with Iceland and blamed Iceland for the U.S. stock market dip. This isn’t a policy mistake—it’s cognitive collapse on display. The 25th Amendment exists for moments like this.

Possibly the most intelligent and lucid national leader around right now - the polar opposite of Trump. Two excellent lines here : 1 . ..if you're not at the table, you're on the menu" and 2. .." This is not sovereignty. It is the performance of sovereignty whilst accepting subordination..."

Am I the only one who's beginning to suspect that the never -ending 'Threat/Remove Threat of Tariffs' cycle that the Trump Cult call foreign policy, is nothing more than insider dealing for the benefit of friends , family and benefactors? Threaten tariffs, crash market, buy, withdraw threat, sell.

Trump says he will '100%' follow through on threat to impose tariffs over Greenland demand, military options open. Snubs Starmer's appeasement. The man-child says Norway denied him Nobel Peace Prize even though it had no say. Turns against NATO allies, US is divided. There will be a bitter legacy
