Reform plan to bring back imperial measurements to help boost US trade, not realising that US imperial measurements are different from UK ones. So dense a black hole is empty space by comparison.

In the BBC News room... Boss, this new ONS report has good news - unemployment rate falling and employment going up! - Isn't there some bad news in there too, so we can make Labour look bad?? Well, vacancies are down... - Great! Use that for the headline!

The unexpected issue is that they’ve lost track of it. Which in my experience is a fairly regular occurrence. You’ll gather they’re not my favourite courier.

Why is Nigel Farage back on air? Ofcom bans politicians from presenting news programmes, but GB News claims Farage's show is just 'current affairs' despite him using it to defend Reform's £72m in donations. Close the loophole now.

Rachel Johnson who was interviewing her didn't push back at all and even seemed to be agreeing with her. Here's a fuller account from the police. Absolutely scandalous that an MP is not condemning this act of terrorism

Labour is not opening new safe routes. This latest measure is reopening a route they closed and making it more restrictive. This follows claiming they were opening new community sponsorship and work/study routes which already existed but they made harder to access. It's smoke and mirrors. #r4today

Time's up on Thames Water. Since privatisation in 1989, Thames has handed out over £10 billion to shareholders, while racking up over £20 billion in debt. Now a consortium of US hedge funds want to take control... Get private profit out of water. Nationalisation now.

It is very hard to satisfactorily describe just how badly the BBC's journalistic standards have collapsed in recent years. Quite completely fucking useless.

The major problem with this reporting - beyond its fundamental inaccuracy - is that when arrests are eventually made there will be no proper context and therefore it will seem like the state is smothering free expression.

“There can be no more trying to pretend there’s a respectable anti-immigration position which is meaningfully distinguishable from far right thuggery” We must actively make racism shameful again. Because this is where it has led and it’s unforgivable. No more indulging ignorance and hate.

“Legitimate concerns“ rhetoric & increasing restrictions on migrants’ rights have led directly to Piddlington & to RNLI staff being doxxed as traitors. So scrap inheritance tax for the one in twenty families that pay it and instead make everyone - the lowest paid, those who’ll never own a property for their children to inherit - pay more. So gross. So Tory.

There's a huge difference between political donations from hundreds of thousands of individual of trade unionists giving a few quid each and trousering £70m-plus from two dodgy crypto billionaires. You'd have to be wilfully blind not to see that.

Accuracy matters. Since 2018 there have actually been 17 convictions for voter fraud from approx 47 million voters. And 11 election convictions from approx 1300 Reform/Brexit Party officials. That's about 25,000 times more convictions per capita. I did the maths. You're welcome.

We've had less than ten convictions for postal vote fraud over the last 30 years but despite this fact, Farage is again emulating his criminal, rapist and paedophile idol by wanting to end postal voting.

The nightingale hospital in Birmingham cost £106 million and didn't treat a single patient. We had no trained staff, because for decades we prioritised tax cuts for "wealth creators" (aka wealth hoarders) over investing in our country. Hospitals. Schools. Roads. Prisons. This is the result.
