The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

Imagine you call in Trump to campaign as a last ditch effort and he tells everybody you’re going to lose and starts talking about hot men’s asses instead

Trump on Roy Cooper: "He's going to become your senator and it's crazy" RIP Michael Whatley

While the President says this Islamophobic drivel with no pushback, the Democrat Consultant Class is advising Abdul El-Sayed to smile more…

Trump: "If you call somebody from that part of the world 'Mohammed,' you're about 65% sure to get it right. So if you have any problem with names, just call the guy Mohammed, you'll probably be right."

Hold on, the guy who was most famous for saying the words “you’re fired” on a fake reality show didn’t have the guts to actually say the words “you’re fired” to this idiot and basically took the Michael Scott approach instead? I guess I’m not that surprised but still very disappointing.

I know of a mother who was snatched up by ICE as she was boarding a plane to go to her son’s graduation from a military academy. She was not undocumented, had no criminal record, and had been here for decades. She was expelled to a country in Africa she’d never been to before.

NEW: ICE is trying to deport a mother of 4 while her husband is at Fort Benning in Army basic training. When she went to pick up the family's military IDs, Navy personnel turned her over to ICE. She's been in the US since age six. With @nancyayoussef.bsky.social www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

This is just a fucking carjacking. How the hell was he supposed to know it was a state sponsored carjacking. what the fuck are we doing here.

Aaron Reichlin-Melnick@reichlinmelnick.bsky.social

The NYPD just released surveillance video of the ICE shooting (which occurred off camera). Two men in civilian clothes run up to a car with guns drawn. One second later, one man begins smashing the butt of his gun into the driver’s side window. The driver appears to panic and hit the gas.

Sometimes you can’t predict the future, and other times you see with blinding clarity that Rahm will bomb in the first debate, say 10 dumb things about reaching across the aisle, poll at one percent, get dunked on relentlessly, drop out, and run for senate as a centrist Republican.

Trying to imagine a scenario here where the Chiefs defense stops a Daniel Jones led offense that is down to zero WRs. Or even gets a single pressure. You know, just wild stuff.

"This election is about the threat of trans kids" is the worst possible messaging for Dems yet so many candidates are leaning into it. No voter will flip R->D over it. Low-info voters read this as "you're focused on bullshit that doesn't affect me" while the base reads this as "you're an asshole."

Adam Bonin@adambonin.bsky.social

Incredibly disappointing ad from Mary Peltola (D-AK) saying she neither supports "kids getting surgeries to change genders or men in girls bathrooms." Yes, flipping the Senate is essential and can stop bad laws and bad judges from happening, but she can do it without my support from the lower 48.

I thought Carter's 425-foot double was just unlucky being in Boston but seeing that it still wouldn't have gone out in 4 other parks is...something.

Would it dong? (again)@woulditdongagain.bsky.social

Carter Jensen vs Sonny Gray Double (30) 🏃 Exit velo: 110.0 mph Launch angle: 22 deg Projected distance: 425 ft This would have been a home run in 25/30 MLB ballparks, including Kauffman Stadium Non-HR in: AZ, BOS, COL, HOU, MIN KC @ BOS 🔺 1st

The Supreme Court blocked the student loan forgiveness despite there being explicit statutory authority for Biden to do it and allowed the Iran War despite an explicit Constitutional prohibition on anyone besides Congress declaring a war.

Dare Obasanjo@carnage4life.bsky.social

It gets worse when you remember that the Strait of Hormuz was open before the war started. So we’re spending $40B and people are dying on both sides to return to the status quo from January. Everything is socialism unless it’s money for killing people in pointless forever wars.

Chauvin was, in fact, the cause of Floyd’s death. He used a technique that MPD and most other agencies have banned, specifically because it causes death. And the crime for which he was convicted is unintentional second-degree murder, which by definition does not require intent to kill.

Justin Baragona@justinbaragona.bsky.social

Is there ever a time now when he's not trying to ignite a race war?

Imagine a country where the ruling regime is putting babies in concentration camps and people openly advertise the fight for higher wages and universal healthcare as their greatest foe.

The "centrist" think tank Third Way is looking to pay someone between $140,000 and $150,000 to spend their days trying to dig up dirt on DSA members. They're trying to sell this gig as "anti-extremism" work, which I find completely disgusting.

I live in Jupiter, Florida and have since retiring from the car dealership I owned in Toms River, NJ back in 2007. I play 162 holes of golf per week and the top issue in my life is this terrible Mandami pied-a-terre tax in New York City. What about all the money those people spend at restaurants?

Just got home and turned on the Royals game in the bottom of the ninth up 3-0 with 2 outs and an 0-2 count only to see them give up the most predicable walk-off grand slam I’ve ever seen. Incredible stuff.
