For privacy reasons, I am not showing my real face or name here. You will see me as my Second Life persona, Aggi, but I keep most of my SL themed posts to PrimFeed.. For those that may have met me in real life, please accept this hint about who I am in the form of my shoulder dragon, Maxwell.

If you did something amazing today, I'm proud of you. If you went to work today, I'm proud of you. If you took a shower, I'm proud of you. If you did some laundry, I'm proud of you. If you got out of bed, I'm proud of you. And if all you did was make it through another day, I'm still proud of you.

Here's the official announcement of Parton's passing from her reps, along with the request that in lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library at www.imaginationlibrary.com

Alex Zalben@azalben.bsky.social

Dolly Parton, among a thousand other amazing things she did in her life, gifted over 330 million books to kids through her Imagination Library program. Her passing is a tremendous loss to the world, but you can support the program today to keep it going imaginationlibrary.com

If you've ever noticed that my posts have weird spacing, it's my gen-x thumb, rebelling against my attempts to stop putting two spaces after a period. It's going to put that extra space in SOMEWHERE no matter what, and I don't always catch it because my claustrophobia approves of the extra space.

imagining a grizzled hardboiled detective saying this while gripping some guy's lapels at a shady bar

On the one hand, I want to try out DuckDuckGo, on the other hand, when I switched to Brave last year and I had to reverify my identity for every single website with a login because all those sites interpreted a different browser as a whole new device.

Finished another tutorial - how to make basic alpha textures in #Secondlife. oneluckyelf.blogspot.com/2026/04/make... I did not cover the hours you'll spend going back and forth between your editing program and your viewer, trying to determine exactly what parts on the grid need to be invisible.

Last year it was mermaids, the year before was pirates. This year my #SecondLife deep dive is all about Petite Avatars and fairies! It's the first time I've recorded a hyperfixation in a blog post, so prepare yourself for pre-mesh skin and clothing. oneluckyelf.blogspot.com/2026/04/peti...

oneluckyelf.blogspot.comPetite AvatarsHi!  Hello?  Hey! Down here!   Let's go explore the smaller parts of Second Life. It's time to get Petite. This rabbit-hole dive into smalle...

We're not all furries in #SecondLife (NTTAWWT). Some of us are overworked elves? Hair by Magika, outfit by Somnium, bookcases by Moonsha, 8F8, and Dreadfully Dark, Desk by ChiMia. I made the pose using the new Firestorm Poser feature.

This is my only #muppet themed ornament. I've had it for decades, but it's too big for my tree. I tried shopping for more this year and was extremely disappointed in the offerings through the decades. I guess I really lucked out!

I recently learned that amazon pays KU authors by the number of pages read, and now I feel bad because I always skipped the previews for the next book at the end. Now I've been trying to skim so all the pages get 'read.' I will either read the next book or I won't, a preview means nothing!

911 isn’t the only number you need to know these days. In Washington state, help is three numbers away. Call or Text 911 – for life threatening emergencies & in-progress crimes 988 Lifeline– for suicide interventions and crisis support 211 – for information & community resources
