I know you're enrolled to vote. Your mission is to find someone who ISN'T and explain patiently and persuasively why they need to be.

Who handed the secret legal brief from defendant corps in #NZpol Supreme court case Smith V Fonterra to Luxon granting total legal immunity in tort to them and others causing climate disaster? Matt Burgess of #AtlasNetwork front NZI. Barbara Chapman, dep. chair of NZI, is chair of Genesis Energy!

The HILARITY of National sharing an AI-slop post of Chris HIPKINS, of all people, being nagged into giving power away by junior coalition partners. Has anyone watched Christopher Luxon over the past three years?

9 year old son studying WW2 at school, referred to the Axis powers as 'Germany and Friends' and now I can't he the potential sitcom out of my head.

Fucking get them OUT, Aotearoa. And THEN bully, harass, plead with the next government to pass (UNDER URGENCY BECAUSE APPARENTLY THAT'S HOW EVERYTHING WORKS NOW) campaign donation limits. No more Mowbrays buying policy for their import business.

Nick Mowbray (plastic choking hazard toy maker) bribes ACT party to remove safety standards designed to protect babies from his shitty toys, because of course babies choking to death or ingesting poisonous plastics will defo fix all of societies problems. 🤪🙄 #nzpol #OneTermGovernment #NZ #TaxTheRich

Hmm.

In Spain Socialist PM Pedro Sanchez has prioritized job creation, wealth redistribution & green reindustrialization, with minimum wage increases, progressive taxation & a big, sustained programme of public investment. In 2024, The Economist judged Spain to have the world's most successful economy.

Awful truth, unknown to 99% of the population... NZ Govt adopted an economic management model in the 1980s that MAKES SURE: 1. We always have tens of thousands of kiwis on the dole. 2. People with work / little work live in abject poverty that keeps them desperate for crap jobs. Why? [🧵 1/n]

Copilot, write me a report that explains how much I hate this woman. No wait, doesn't matter how advanced you've become, I CAN DO IT BETTER.

Most decisions made by public servants, and explicitly those decisions relating to entitlements & liabilities, are definitionally management decisions based on delegated authority from the Crown via ministers and the departmental hierarchy Therefore

So. If a closed caucus meeting has a confidence vote in the PM and the PM refuses to accept the outcome of the vote and they call in the Speaker to give advice, who says you can’t make him go. Then no one speaks up because they’d lose their party membership. Would it look different to this?

Chris Keall@chriskeall.bsky.social

Stayburger. Luxon won a confidence vote held during a 2.5 hour caucus. Brief statement. Didn't take questions (pic: Adam Pearse) www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/politics/...

Government: courts are subverting Parliamentary intent. Courts: you got any select committee reports to help us understand Parliamentary intent?

A MUSLIM Mayor! Imposing Sharia clean air law on Brits! Taking away the job of London Bobbies to stare into the smog and say "It's another pea-souper, Sarge, we'll not catch the Ripper tonight!"

Don't forget Simeon Brown, former Minister of Transport who pushed for raising speed limits.

Tony from Welly@tonywelly.bsky.social

Chris Bishop is a complete dick He was advised not to put the speed up but did it anyway And the cost of replacing signs and then death in Kuku is so frustrating. A complete muppet. #nzpol NZTA considers U-turn on 100km/h speed limits for highways near Levin share.google/D4iOU4sRIN7A...

Oh, I know this one! We own Air New Zealand because its former private owners made a series of ghastly decisions and registered an operating loss of $1.45 *billion* in 2001 and the Clark govt stepped in, bought an 82% stake and renationalised it so we still had a national carrier.
