Republican politicians are *obsessed* with schoolchildren coming home a different gender because of pro-trans teachers, WHICH NEVER HAPPENS. But they are completely indifferent to schoolchildren not coming home *at all* because of guns, WHICH HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!

Kemi Badenoch condemned Reform's ban on critical journalists covering their conference as "authoritarian", saying her own party would never do the same as "we believe in free speech. We believe in a free press." Now the Conservatives have banned Byline Times from their conference

“The trouble with you, Spode, is that just because you have succeeded in inducing a handful of half-wits to disfigure the London scene by going about in black shorts, you think you’re someone. You hear them shouting “Heil, Spode!” and you imagine it is the Voice of the People.” Bertie Wooster

Farage should attend a park run, a game of football, a Primary School in Clacton, a Prom concert before he goes all "Broken Britain" The country is NOT broken. It's millions of people, born without Farage's privilege, trying cheerfully trying their best for their families and communities.

Replying to @hopenothate.org.uk

And the biggest howler: Reform’s geniuses in Kent were apparently able to repaint a fence, trim the verge, plant grass seed (and get it to grow instantly), redo the pavement and repave the road all so quickly that the car in the top-right corner didn’t move an inch! Amazing!

"The politicians basically serve the rich, the wealthy, and their self-interest." Listen to this man in Nigel Farage's constituency.

What’s that, Dale? You want to give me an unconditional personal gift of £5million to do whatever I want with? Sure! I just need to fill out a form. If I didn’t declare it that would be silly.

The real problem with the now obvious corruption in Reform UK and its Conservative converts is not that the press didn’t cover this when it was patent years ago, but that because nothing was done it has become standard operating procedure

Ukraine are kindly destroying the Russian army for European allies. The least we can do is give them these missiles to defend themselves with.

🚨 BREAKING: Lack of interceptors left Ukraine unable to stop ballistic missiles during massive attack, Zelenskyy says. "While Patriot missiles remain in allies' warehouses, it only encourages Russia to keep 'defeating' residential buildings," added Zelenskyy.

I’m old enough to remember some rightwingers calling out Obama for having an opinion on Brexit, presumably they’ll be shocked by this

if Harbourne wasn’t registered to vote in the UK at the time he gave Farage £5 million in early 2024, then he would not have been a permissible donor. The law requires that individuals donating directly to UK political parties must be registered to vote in the UK, including as an overseas voter.

Can I just ask, #r4today, as you seem to be very keen to talk about and investigate Polanski’s council tax issue, why not the same feverish scrutiny over the far more troubling and glaringly corrupt £5M bribe Farage took from that crypto billionaire, Harborne? We can hear your strings being pulled.

Richard Tice will be speaking to Laura Kuenssberg because I'm still afraid of scrutiny. I thought the best person to explain why there is nothing wrong with accepting a £5 million gift would be the man who repeatedly avoids paying tax.

Note to journalists: thank you for treating me as though I have just become Prime Minister, but if you dare to ask me about the £5 million I got from a crypto billionaire I will shut you down like the petulant little shit I am.
