The Saturday march is significantly louder today, amid Constitutional Court hearings aimed at banning major opposition parties. Expect an even bigger rally tomorrow. The 696th consecutive day of protests in Georgia.

Please stop confusing the British Jewish community with a specific brand of genocide approving Zionists. There are Jews in Israel protesting the genocide of Gaza or the latest destruction of the West Bank. There are Jews in Britain and abroad who condemn the genocide of Palestine.

Good morning from the heart of Africa. I cross villages on foot in the rain and under tropical heat with no salary and no organization behind me,because the Congo rainforest still breathes for all of us. It stores vast carbon, shelters over 10,000 plant species.

OCTOBER 31, US EMBASSY Over 400 people will gather outside the US Embassy and hold signs reading "I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action", days before the Supreme Court hearing on the Palestine Action ban. Burnham must drop this "Trumpian ban".

Take a moment to remember what we promised Brexit would deliver: a well-funded NHS, less immigration, more jobs, flourishing businesses with no red tape, easy to get on the housing ladder, boom time for farming, fishing and steel industries... I do hope you're enjoying it.

The government didn’t just approve Jackdaw, they also reiterated their support for so-called tiebacks - a dodge to allow yet more new drilling without new licenses. This deserves almost as much scrutiny as Jackdaw and has got barely any of it, so I raised it in the Chamber.

The latest hot news that we will definitely not be holding a press conference about is that yesterday there were by-elections in three district councils, one city council and one county council and Reform lost in all of them. Our unstoppable march to power continues.

Hitler, Mussolini and Franco all got arrested and imprisoned. They were all released and carried out coups and became fascist dictators. Don't make the same mistake Brazil, keep Bolsonaro in jail. Vote Lula.

Among Keir Starmer's worst deeds were his legislative and rhetorical attacks on nature protection. In those two wasted years, we spiralled backwards, even from the Tory legacy. At this week's biodiversity summit, the Burnham govt should pledge to turn that round. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

This is damning. So much could could have been done at the time, with what was known about COVID, and with what what resources we had. It’s hard not to read callous neglect into these findings. And that intentional neglect was layered with lies - like the “protective ring” - which did not exist.

The Inquiry’s overarching judgement is that fragmented responsibility, ignored warnings, poor data and inadequate planning created conditions in which Covid could spread “like wildfire”. Social care’s neglect was longstanding. During the pandemic, its consequences became catastrophic.

Government support for drilling at #Jackdaw takes a wrecking ball to any pretence of UK climate leadership & pours fuel on an overheating world - and for what? It’s equivalent to just 2 months of UK gas demand, creates just 27 direct jobs & has *no* impact on energy bills🧵1/4

I love 4 Extra. It's my favourite radio station. I love how it flows as a linear station. I love how it schedules programmes I'd otherwise never have heard. It's my go-to escape. I'm very sad to read that it is to close.

I have a friend who is an A&E nurse and she told me once, 'The arts are so important. If you aren't out there making the world a better place then what are we patching people up in hospital for?' Whenever you doubt your (often difficult) choice to continue to be a creative person, remember that ❤️
