Of course he can pronounce them, he is assuming his audience is too dumb to pronounce them.

JD Vance says of the Middle East that it's "a region of the world made up of countries whose name I couldn't even pronounce"

One of the funny ways the bluesky algo works. This is in my "discover" tab as its "from running" because it has the word marathon in it. Usually it's obscure IT programming stuff but this is something new.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

He also said "yes you ca...." actually "no you can't!!" When we asked to be allowed to burn the subsidiary bond holders when we were going down the financial toilet.

The thing you need to know Obama is that he dronebombed civilians, expanded hydrocarbon extraction and sponsored the Israeli occupation, but with a really cool aesthetic

I remember when the back page opinion of the sindo was a token soothing left leaning bsalm to let its readers feel a little bit better about themselves, to forget they were greedy envious bitter little shits.

Yes, Brenda. All week those lefty freaks were trying to ban people hugging their granny. That’s definitely what happened. Another good faith take from the person who wants what’s best for everyone!

The fact that the american people have not gone bonkers over the fact that they never got their tarrif charges back is amazing.

GOP does nothing but gin up culture wars. Meanwhile: — GOP slashed SNAP benefits to 5+ million Americans, forcing them to turn to food banks. — Trump's tariffs and war spurred inflation, making it more expensive to eat at The Cheesecake Factory. Prices are now ~13% higher than when he took office.

Whoever came up with the idea of using the microwave to revive stale scones deserves all of the Nobel prizes and I do mean all of them.

This post may be distressing to some. Almost all of the time the met eireann forecast hourly forecast here is spot on but this morning it isnt so sadly I can't go out on the bike or for a run. I must have some scones instead.

A new twist! Pipes and it was only a temporary job.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump on the Reflecting Pool: "It's the longest swimming pool in history. And it always leaked. And we had tremendous vandalism. And we had it pretty well, but we're gonna undo it anyway because we had to do the pipes. We wanted to get it done for July 4 temporarily."

I would just like to mention that he is one of the *english* stamps

In 2024 we published an article on a man called Iain Clifford Stamp, who charged people ££££ for a scheme that would magically eliminate their mortgage. The High Court was exceptionally unamused:

What kind of statement is it to make that actually the views of the government are that kids CAN be touched without their consent?

Tom Stamp reposted

The Justice Minister /apologising/ over a social media video about consent the day after he accused striking solicitors of deliberately sabotaging rape cases is quite something

Trump was the lead of the Obama birth cert fiction as well.

Ilhan Omar@ilhanmn.bsky.social

The pedophile protection party’s president is laundering right-wing conspiracy theories through the most corrupt DOJ in American history. Whenever the news turns bad, this creep reaches for one name: mine. So let’s make it crystal clear. My name has always been Ilhan Omar.

What’s worse is the ad was based off research with real kids and young people. But god forbid, a few imaginary grand parents have their feelings hurt. So on form for the Irish state. “Children should be seen and not heard.”
