Trump: "Our country is making hundreds of billions of dollars on oil. and then on top of it we have Venezuela, and we have Greenland! 'We're making trillions of dollars. But my people said 'please don't mention that, sir, because people are paying a little higher'... we're making a frickin' fortune"

I voted earlier today. I am not in a highly contested area. My vote isn't going to be the one that "makes all the difference" but it counts. Vote because you believe things can be better...

El-Sayed: "You might've seen that earlier this we had a debate. More like I had a debate, and he played MAGA's greatest hits. But there's really only one line he said that's worth paying any attention to. He said that the last two years have been 'amazing.' So Detroit, let me ask you ... "

This... For everything... Politicians and corporations are fucking us all over rather than raising us all up. I want off this ride... I just wat for us all to be able to exist and get what each of us need to be happy.

The first genuinely honest ad for generative AI I've ever seen, from Microsoft / CoPilot A mediocre white guy sees his non-white colleague getting praised for good work, he asks AI to *literally copy it*, and then he gets all the praise instead: www.ispot.tv/ad/SoDi/micr...

But the MoCA only has three animals on it, and in recent years Trump always names four animals when discussing the cognitive test he gets. So is he getting a customized version which randomizes the animals and offers four? Or is he getting the standard, then just forgetting the details soon after.

We were investigating Wedgewood for faking their data and emailed them for comment this morning, ahead of publishing the findings tomorrow. They are now trying to cover up their fraud with the "we were doing a social experiment" excuse. Full story here: blog.fiftyplusone.news/p/fiftypluso...

We already have flying cars. They're called helicopters. They're really expensive and there are good reasons you have to have a pilot license and work with air traffic control to fly them. Putting jets on a sedan is not going to result in a better vehicle or transportation experience in any way.

Musk's DOGE boys took a 'sledgehammer' to the federal govt & services people relied on. Now they're getting rich off the pain they caused. DOGE was never about efficiency, it was about breaking the govt & selling it off to Trump's billionaire buddies & allies. Endless grift.

washingtonpost.comThey came to Washington to dismantle government. Now, they’re profiting from it.DOGE alumni have leveraged their government experience, raising at least half a billion dollars for firms spanning cyberwarfare, AI and data centers, a Post analysis found.

Look at the shabby state and increasingly authoritarian trajectory of the country and ask yourself if we can endure 2 more years of a lawless Trump administration wreaking havoc with no check from Congress, then vote accordingly. This is not the time for a protest vote or purity politics.

There are many ways in which every billionaire is a policy failure, but the most corrosive and destructive way in which billionaires are policy failures is this: billionaires, despite being unelected and unaccountable, possess the power to control - and ruin - millions of peoples' lives.
