Sure seems like ICE had three deaths in 24 hours, knew how bad it would look, and are trying to draw it out so people won’t notice.

Amazon quietly admitting that its forward projections of RoI based on rising AI use have been falsified.

"Amazon has AWS" "Google has Vertical Integration of Data" "Microsoft has Azure" Technically accurate & completely misses the shape of what is coming. These are not static value; they are actively projected based on contracts. Virtually all of those intersect fatally w/ API demand collapsing.

I think one of the more important skills you can have in 2026 is knowing when someone is performatively using progressive coded language to argue for something that is fundementally not progressive because they can claim a perceived moral high ground.

my nuclear-grade AI hot take that’s sure to get me cancelled until kingdom come is that refusing to use AI at all is rapidly becoming an extremely privileged lifestyle choice that feels social justice-y while actually being the complete opposite

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

Mark Zuckerberg is straight up way more evil than Elizabeth Holmes but because he’s got a lot of money the tech press has to go to his little events and pretend his ideas are valid instead of being like “what’s up with that dumbass shirt?” and “don’t you regularly influence elections/genocides?”

You know they're trying so hard to find a real Mamdani scandal, and this is the best they could do.

Will anyone—anyone at all—ask Trump about the rape allegations published in an official report by the House Judiciary Democrats? Or will he continue to escape accountability for his violence?

None of us should forget this. Meta should be subjected to corporate death penalty and permanently broken up into small pieces.

Lula: "We had to overcome foreign interference through digital platforms, which we will have to regulate. A crime in the digital world must be treated the same as a crime in the real world. We cannot have monstrous companies earning millions... not paying taxes... wanting to steer elections."

It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

The pedophile protection party’s president is laundering right-wing conspiracy theories through the most corrupt DOJ in American history. Whenever the news turns bad, this creep reaches for one name: mine. So let’s make it crystal clear. My name has always been Ilhan Omar.

My brain cannot process this level of corruption. She was being paid $50 million to engineer a pardon from Trump *while working at the Justice Department* as a "Special Government Employee." And it worked. He got the pardon, and she got the money. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/20/u...

It's been very surreal to read in the news all these statements that "Paris is burning." I feel obligated to point out that any burning was highly localized and long since extinguished. Paris is not, in a broad sense, burning.

11/ I would also be unsurprised to see shareholder lawsuits against Musk for violating his fiduciary duties as a director for his actions in this affair. What he's done is almost certain to be highly destructive for SpaceX's shareholder value.
