NPR CEO Katherine Maher on a tweet she posted in 2020 calling Trump a fascist and a sociopath: "I regret those tweets. I would not tweet them again today. They represented a time where I was reflecting on something I believe that the president had said rather than who he is."

Last night my otherwise sane sister was extolling the virtues of NPR reporting. I stopped listening several years ago when I'd had enough of the "both-sideism." Maher may be throwing herself on her sword to save NPR. It won't work. And her groveling and obeying in advance is repugnant. @npr.org

Trump is continuously saying things since 2016 that make me see him as a fascist and a sociopath. Based on the 9 year experience of not being able to avoid hearing every single dumb uttering from Trump, I believe he is a fascist and a sociopath.

Wow. Way to defend NPR against the Nazis. By puckering up and kissing some big orange ass 🧡💋. Trump IS a FASCIST and a Sociopath. If you regret those tweets, you aren't going to defend the freedom of the press from these Treasonists. That makes you ONE OF THEM.

NPR has lost all of its validity as a centered news agency when they supported the israeli propaganda that Palestine was the enemy. They are a disgusting news source and should be embarrassed to even call themselves journalists.

Maybe like the Director of National Intelligence she tweeted that from her personal account and she maintains her 1st amendment rights to speak on her personal opinions.

This is a very scary time! We’re watching Trump’s administration carry out targeted attacks on political opponents & their supporters. They are ignoring long established bulwarks against despotic tyrants and destroying trust between time-honoured friendships. Time to stand up America, not capitulate

WOW! I can’t believe this is happening in this country!! Trump is a sociopath alongside these enablers. The republican party is as much guilt of dictatorship as Trump himself.
