I think most Trumpets realize that Trump is a rapist, but they actually don’t care. I think they see his many crimes as a sort of droit du seigneur that wealthy, powerful men are simply entitled to. I think people haven’t really faced up to the moral depravity of the modern Republican Party.

Why do you limit your comment to Swalwell and the Democrats? There are no doubt scumbags in both parties who help keep this sort of outrageous behavior quiet and they all should be ashamed. Hell, Gaetz and Trump openly bragged about their conduct.

I’ve heard this over the past few days (at least that it was a know secret in DC), but I’ve also heard several prominent people in the media say this was news to them.

While it’s understandable that all parties concerned displayed poor judgment at certain points, her poor judgment is no excuse for Swalwell to rape her. Though hope she learns some lessons and protects herself in the future. I hope her and all the victims get restitution.

Don’t excuse irresponsible behavior in the workplace. Young women (and men) need to act responsibly and those who are carrying on like this need to take notice.
