NEWS CENTER MAINE: This is the first reelection campaign that you're run since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. I was hoping you could talk to me a little bit about your vote to confirm Kavanaugh and whether you regret that? SUSAN COLLINS: I do not regret that vote.

I translated that word salad as: "Welp, Maine's not affected so you can still vote for me" And if she gets in and the GOP then nationalizes anti-abortion policies, "I'm concerned. (clutching pearls hard)"

Platner campaign worker #1: "Our guy has some issues." Platner campaign worker #2: "We gotta convince people Collins is worse." Platner campaign worker #3, giddy: "GUYS I THINK YOU'RE GONNA WANNA SEE THIS!"

Platner has good, progressive policies and has shown an unwavering support for those policies since highschool. Anyone claiming otherwise hasn't done their homework. Check the pinned link on my profile if you want to do your homework.

Platner's "good progressive policies" include repeatedly voting for Collins and singing her praises on her strongest case to voters: Bringing in federal money to improve every county in their rural state. Why dismiss his votes but not hers? Why believe what he says, but not her? His lies are public.

It’s the far left that does this shit. They demand everything be perfect and done their way. If they don’t get it, they throw a tantrum and refuse to participate.

I don’t know how Susan Collins sleeps at night. For that matter, any of the folks in Congress, the WH, can’t possibly close both eyes knowing that “An eye for an Eye” may mean more than they realized.

Collins needs to be voted out! She never stood up for the women of Maine. She always seems wishy washy on the issues to me. No clear convictions!

Collins is way qualified than Graham Planter. Graham Planter is going to lose just like Kamala Harris to Donald Trump. She's a moderate. Graham Planter is a socialist.

She said she looks at integrity when she votes for a justice. If that’s true, then Kavanaugh should have been immediately unacceptable to her. She lies.

Collins was a pivotal vote in Kavanaugh’s confirmation. In 2018, she said that Kavanaugh viewed Roe as “settled law,” a point she cited when explaining her support for him. - Wrong

She needs to just go home and go to bed. Tired of my great-grandparents telling me how the world is supposed to be, when they haven't understood it in 25 years. She still has a VCR and her kids still reprogram it for her after a power outage. She should have no hand in running the country.

Seriously, why is my dad retiring in his 60s, but these fuckers get to keep working their cushy jobs and sucking on the taxpayer teet until they hit triple digits with dementia? 70 should be the age limit for federal office (Congress, President, Supreme Court, etc). No exceptions.

They may well regret it, but they have only themselves to blame. It's too bad what he'll do affects the whole country, not just Mainers. Let's hope the stress of the job doesn't result in him drinking and cheating on his wife to cope. The job has been too much for stronger people than he.

At the Turning Point conference, women said they would give up their right to vote to allow their husband‘s to only vote. They claim they agree with every vote HE might make. Never are they asked if it would be ok if men don’t get to vote. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

democracydocket.comAt Turning Point USA conference, women offer away their voting rightsAt the Turning Point USA Women’s Leadership Summit, conservative women speak freely about willingly giving up their right to vote.

This woman comes off as a sweet little old lady. No sweet little old lady helps to confirm Bret Kavanaugh! Not a single one!!!!!! On behalf of my female partner and our 14 Y/O daughter………EAT A BAG OF D!CKS Susan! 🖕🏼🖕🏼

Why do we keep coming back to this. She is not a kindly Grandma or Auntie who she resembles and sounds like on the outside. She’s a diabolical crone out for herself and doesn’t care about anyone especially other women.

I've railed against Platner and told him to drop out. But, as someone wittier than me pointed out, even if the worst version of every red flag about Platner turned out to be true, Susan Collins would still put him on the Supreme Court. All that really needs saying on the matter.

You can look at him as a means to an end, breaking the toxic cycle of incumbency that enabled Collins to cast these votes again and again If he disappoints, primary him in 2032. Even Fetterman votes with Democrats 90+% of the time, whereas Collins is in the 60s-70s, iirc

Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Joni Ernst are Senators that could have changed the trajectory of our country, yet they placed the nails in the coffins of reproductive and voting rights by confirming Trump's supreme court nominees & his grossly unqualified cabinet. Maine, had enough?!👁️
