Give me a break. More Trumpsters trumpeting the same lies. I have voted in several states, Always the same: When you sign up to vote in that town they check your credentials. Voting is private. The ballot get put in the machine privately. And the people supervising are from both parties.

She doesn’t know shit about California elections. Not a thing. She MAY have voted. That’s the only real life experience she can offer to this conversation. “I once lived in California and voted.” Wow. Thanks.

Dang, we've got some Age of Adeline level of crazy going on here. The last democratic election in China was in January 1948, just before the Chinese Communist Party came to power. This "spokesmodel" looks amazing for someone who witnessed Chinas election 78 years ago.

The name of the party since 1921 has been “Communist Party of China”. Our last election was in 2023, our next is 2028. You perhaps do t understand our system, but it is in my opinion fine as it is. We get people who have earned the right over 30-40 years for top spots, not randos with no experience.

bwahahaha China famously holds elections under one party rule, there is no contest! The PRC teaches their youth that Democracy is bad. Watch the movie "Please Vote for Me" (2007) to see how they convince kids that authoritarianism is the best form of government, it's insane.

* Candidates are usually approved or heavily influenced by the ruling Chinese Communist Party. * Independent candidates face significant obstacles and are uncommon. * Voters do not directly elect the mayor of Beijing, the city’s top leaders, or China’s national leadership.

Just cut to the chase Newsmax and call your viewers idiots, you can even say your viewers are dumber than the Fox BS outlet. If any believe this, they are beyond help as stupidity is their sole belief.

According to Trump communications mouthpiece, so called 'elections' in Beijing' are better than the US. Of course they are, it's always the same winner whatever people vote for exactly what Trump is trying to achieve.

Here’s how it works: we vote directly for our local District Deputies. They then vote for the Provincial level, who vote for the National People’s Congress (NPC), and the NPC selects the President. It’s a ladder! 🪜 to gain a top spot you need 30-40 years of service to the country.

That’s not true we have elections every 5 years. We vote for our local deputies, those we elect then vote for the provincial government and the provincial votes for national. Then they selected the top dogs.

For people who have all these amazing resumes, studies, jobs abroad, careers, they really are dumb as shit. Zero critical thinking, just a bot grown but Christian Conservatives and this is what you get. It's just like all the other cults you might see but on a vast stage. There is no hope for them

In China, citizens can only vote directly for Communist Party officials (or their Party controlled surrogates) at the lowest local level (their village or town district). There are no other participatory elections for ordinary people at the citywide, provincial or national level.

She means the local elections, where the CCP chooses who runs and then picks which people get to vote and who they should vote for. It's very organized, when your authoritarian government holds performative elections.

yes, in Beijing and elsewhere citizens can only vote for their neighborhood/district council directly, and there is only one candidate per seat (usually a CCP member). There are no direct elections for mayors, governors or assemblies of provinces, or for national leaders and the national parliament.

Yeah they have to go in, vote for one candidate...promise to have one child and it's a boy...then find out no one is having babies because they forgot you need a female, then go back and vote 25 years later for the next family member of the great leader...and still have no kids...YUP...FAIR...

Elections in China? The country of ONE PARTY RULE? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 There haven't been "elections" in Beijing in her, or my 83 yo Chinese m-i-l's lifetime. 👀 The CCP tells you who you can support, tally that acknowledgement & when you are counted, you don't get re-educated. 99.9% participation 👀

False: we vote directly for our local District Deputies. They then vote for the Provincial level, who vote for the National People’s Congress (NPC), and the NPC selects the President. It’s a ladder! 🪜 you need 30-40 years of excellent leadership to gain a top spot. We don’t let any 🤡 in.

But you have poo(h), now & forever, since 2018 end of term limits. Particularly like the secret vote for village rep. Followed by you can vote for the CCP approved person or be re-educated 'choice'. Typing this as now US, ex-Chinese citizen, wife sits a meter away. Glad you think you have choice

Xi Jinping is a great leader, majority of us here like what he has done. When the term limit for president ended people were split on that, almost 50/50 I’d say. But he isn’t the only one making the calls, roughly after all is said and done 37 people do.

to everyone earnestly pointing out they don't have elections in China, have you not considered that might be *the point*?
