Yeah I would like to use the default app too, but the percentage of users on iPad is probably fairly small, and there are a lot of things their developers should be prioritizing. For now, it’s a decent alternative.

Thanks for the improvements! Hope you'll add more search operators -- being able to filter out / only replies, images, videos; search for posts with a minimum / maximum amount of likes, replies, or reposts (this would be great for custom feed building too!); boolean operators; search within lists.

Can you please put a filter on discovery as a lot of nude photos have been appearing in it and if younger audience is using bluesky they are gonna see it as discovery shows it for everyone. I want this place to be safe for everyone including younger audiences.

I can see why you want to do this, but the idea of removing a follower is not really aligned with their design. The people you follow are your choice based on your interests, there is no expectation that they like you. It's not like Facebook friends. Though probably blocking should remove follows.

you can also set up a list with just specific users on it (whether you follow them or not). It's not the same as a notification, but it will give you just those posts and nothing else, and you can pin it to your homescreen.

this! i keep getting posts on a topic i dont want to see, despite the fact that i select, "see less of this," hide post, and block on every one of them. at this point it feels like my actions are being interpreted as positive interaction with the post/topic, so i keep being fed more 😭

How about not forcing the app to Portrait mode, except when viewing videos or images full screen, so if the tablet is set for Landscape, will rotate the display 90 degrees every time one is opened?! I avoid the mobile app for exactly that reason.
