The Arlington National Cemetery Memorial apparently has deleted references and information on everyone interred there who wasn’t a white straight man from their database - attempting to sweep their existence under the rug. My thoughts on this obscenity cannot legally be shared on this platform.

dailykos.comMissing in Action: Women Service Members “Delisted” from Arlington National Cemetery WebsiteWhen visiting Arlington National Cemetery this Memorial Day you won’t find Purple Heart recipient Nicole Leanne Gee, U.S. Marine Corps (1998-2021) on it’s website despite being interred there and…

Don't worry about it! The American puppet regime will next replace those erased from Arlington with the names of all the Jan6ers living and dead! Plus Roy Cohn, Craig Spence, Jeff Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell of course. bsky.app/profile/rise...

“This all stops when enough of us say, No!” -Robert B. Hubbell, May 24, 2026

Yeah I had a [REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED] moment earlier…considering that Operation Allies Refuge was…kind of a defining traumatic political memory from my mid-20s. These people did their jobs, they served with distinction, they died for the nation and because they aren’t white guys they are being

Just FYI, you have to do your research on so many of these articles now days. This article is very inaccurate, being written using the very fringes of fact to obtain clicks.

I don't think this is a "they delisted her from the website" thing so much as a "the website's search SUCKS". To search graves at Arlington: 1) Browse to the site: www.arlingtoncemetery.mil 2) Select the map by "Find a Grave" at bottom right 3) Click on the map above "Web" under "ANC Explorer".

No, this isn’t about the grave finder on the Arlington National Cemetery website. it’s about other materials that *used* to be on the website that described and highlighted women and non-white veterans - and have now been deleted, while materials about white male veterans remain.

So if there were 500 names listed before the purge, that would leave 125 white peoples names honored at the Memorial. Next, they try & demolish the Vietnam Memorial and other such military non-white memorials honoring our troops.

This is worse than treason. This is an immortal abomination. Both Trump and Hegseth need to be immediately removed for this act alone. It is beyond reprehensible. It is evil. Eternal shame on them and everyone involved. If you followed this order, you are just as disgusting as those that ordered it.

Yes, the Trump administration made this repulsive move back in 2025, so this isn’t a new development - and they haven’t changed it back. You still can’t find the names of female veterans at Arlington National Cemetery when you search for them:

No, this isn’t about the grave finder on the Arlington National Cemetery website, which still works. it’s about other materials that *used* to be on the website that described and highlighted women and non-white veterans - and have now been deleted, while materials about white male veterans remain.

Just like this country will erase every last thing these mentally ill, traitorous POS have done during these two worst administrations in our history--and made them national pariahs for eternity.

Sure, it is fucking terrible. I just get irritated when people (not you! Whoever originally reposted it on Daily Kos, I guess) put up a year old story and pretend it is new. We don't even know if this is still the case.

Editor at Task & Purpose here. Yes this article is from march 2025 & wrongly reported as recent. Cant speak to every story or honor being restored but some were. It was a massive cut to ANC & pages on Code Talkers, J. Robinson, others all taken down, some restored taskandpurpose.com/news/soldier...

taskandpurpose.comMedal of Honor recipient depicted in movie 'Glory' erased from Pentagon websiteDenzel Washington reenacted the heroics of Sgt. William Carney in the movie "Glory." The Pentagon removed a story about him for DEI reasons.

The widespread erasure of these pages got some senate attention too with Kelly and Duckworth among others speaking out. Can't speak with certainty about the latest on Arlington

I mean, the basic problem is that 53 is bigger than 47. If you have some magic trick to make Republicans grow a conscience, please use it, but otherwise, not much anyone can actually do beyond calling things out before the midterm.

Republicans everywhere should be publicly confronted about this and made to defend it or denounce it. Tie this evil horseshit around their necks like an albatross. They'll crack with enough public blowback. This is unconscionable. 😡😡

We Europeans know. Trump claims, that we did „nothing ever“ for the US. He is spitting on the graves of our soldiers, fallen in US war’s against Iraq, Afghanistan, ISIS. And if reality doesn‘t fit to his feelings, he alters the facts.

They deleted the women, which is inexcusable. Notable black soldiers are still listed, for now. I searched Colin Powell and Edward A. Carter II (MoH recipient who single-handedly engaged and eliminated an enemy position after being shot multiple times).

I don’t understand. How are their families not pounding down the doors of their Senators and Reps in DC demanding that their family members, who gave their lives, be immediately be restored, the honor and recognition they deserve and earned. Where are the veteran’s organizations?

Nothing scares and offends those freaks like meritorious service from a woman, black person, Jew, Muslim, queer, etc., because it puts the lie to their worldview. They think they're inherently better, & they can't stand to live in the shadow of "undesirables" whose boots they're not fit to polish.

I was pretty furious when I saw this, but it's not totally accurate. I can find Nicole Gee by using the "find a grave" link, and then clicking on the "ANC Explorer" and "web" link, as it's apparently an app now. /1

I'll note I've never visited this website before to look up anyone, so I have no idea what has changed. But when I clicked on the "ANC" link, and then "find a gravesite", and typed her first and last name, it shows where she is. /2

It doesn't look like there is any other information about her on the link regarding her service, deployment details, death, etc. But as I said, I've never gone here before so I don't know if that's changed. /5

As the OP says above, it is NOT about the grave finder. It’s all the details about the person’s feats and heroics, which remain there for white males — but not for females, minorities, trans people.

I looked up a few based on "bronze star women recipients buried in Arlington" on Google, and then put their names in. Some showed in the "explore" search and some didn't. Those are "notable" as they received a combat award. Those who didn't, I don't know as I would need to know /1

There is literally no bottom limit to the cruelty Trumpy is willing to do. Trumpy is on his retribution tour of doing everything evil to anyone he doesn't like. That includes pretty much everyone except white christian males. And Trumpy is the least Christian 'man' on earth.

People would go on a national strike for less than just that one thing alone where I live. And Trump pulls shit like this every other day. I'm constantly shocked at how utterly docile and obedient the average US citizen is despite all their posturing about the 2nd amendment.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but if you are or have data boarder friends, NOW is the time to grab literally everything in federal databases you possibly can, for restoration later.

I believe at some point when they’ve taken away our bodily autonomy, they’ve successfully taken away our vote—we have to see that is their desire & intent—they eliminate records of or jobs of women & suddenly we’ll say, but what about us & they’ll say, WhatAboutWomen-Find AnyRecordOfTheirImportance

That’s shocking. More than shocking. It’s one thing to make a batshit demand, but it takes a lot of people to make it happen. Who went along with this? Who decided that some people’s sacrifices weren’t worth being memorialised? Why are people blindly following?
