imagine a future where *we* appropriate the vicious symbolism of ICE in a merciless crack-down billionaires and the MAGA class: fancy production value videos of bashing down their fancy doors, slapping bags over their spray-tanned heads, black helicopters, shattered ugly gold homewares, etc etc

this is of course all very brutal and terrible but I also think people would love it, and let’s be honest, I bet most of us would too

We need the instincts of a filthy-minded showman when it comes to breaking and destroying our corrupt MAGA class. give em a little razzle-dazzle as we lead a weeping and pants-shitting Elon Musk by a chain around his neck into the little piss-scented cell where he has been sentenced to die alone

I don’t want to be elegant and classy, I want to give the people what they want

find *our* most depraved and sick Gen Z politics tiktokers and give them control over how we disseminate video of snot-faced MAGA parasites watching their disgusting little lives burn down forever, you know? let’s campaign on that

Put livestream cameras that never stop filming in the wretched little cells where the DOGE rat-boys and the MAGA remoras and Elon Musk are condemned to live the rest of their lives Put up a screen in the cells where people can donate money to USAID for the privilege of personally insulting them

For a certain donation amount, you get to control the music in the cell

You should note I have never, ever said I want to execute these people. 1. I’m pretty much against capital punishment and 2. I genuinely think a sad little life in prison is a far more cruel outcome for these demons

Yes, I am fully aware of the dangers of this approach - I’ve reported on war crimes tribunals. It is even more dangerous to let lawless and evil men rampage over the public, because the public will eventually take matters into their own hands in far more brutal ways than what I’m describing.

Making a very public spectacle of legally prosecuting and punishing corrupt and lawless people supports public belief in the rule and validity of law. Letting corrupt and lawless people get away with it is ultimately a far more dangerous outcome, as the public only tolerates this for so long.

For example, what I’m proposing does allow these people to live out their lives in prison. There is a very plausible grassroots alternative solution that is not that.

If regular people see rich and powerful assholes thrown in jail, that will clearly send the message that all criminals will face consequences and make them think twice about crime. Dems need to "Get tough on (white collar) crime."

I still recall a President saying in 2005 that the 5th Amendment means nothing if you've sent an email about it and not one damn thing happening to him since but a hug from the First Lady Obama but OK

Decades of solitude in the dungeon beneath the rebuilt East Wing.

Jeebus, Faine; i was just gonna hang 'em on pay-per-view, but i think you've changed my mind 😂
