It’s great I love it

We have no compassion and we ask no compassion from you. When our turn comes, we shall not make excuses for the terror. -Karl Marx

If we want to restore our democracy, we will sadly need to assert authority and weild it without remorse.

Intriguing

yes yes yes public spectacle prolonged humiliation put the fear of God (figuratively) into these filthy cowards i want them so cowed that they flinch instinctively if they even meet the eyes of any woman

Absolutely! Even more: ICE agents in chains being marched down the streets of DC? J6 convicts, pardons freshly overturned, being forced to rebuild the East Wing in orange jumpsuits? 24/7 livestream of Trump in his cell at ADX? People won't even notice how long it'll take to fix Trump's economy!

I want someone who will lead the charge against these people, break them and then run them down like Murat smashing Russians at Eylau.

We are currently experiencing the results of letting the leopards go and hoping they’d quietly stop feeding on us of their own volition.

Put livestream cameras that never stop filming in the wretched little cells where the DOGE rat-boys and the MAGA remoras and Elon Musk are condemned to live the rest of their lives Put up a screen in the cells where people can donate money to USAID for the privilege of personally insulting them

Look, this is literally Newsom’s pitch with his meming, he just won’t go far enough

Tell it!

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY ENDORSE THIS IDEA AND/OR PRODUCT.

I've previously proposed a weekly meeting with a panel of just the meanest teenagers. He stands there while they roast him, or even pretend he's not there sometimes. Air the footage on primetime. Tight closeup on his face showing his reaction to being the biggest loser in the room and no way out.

I advocate for MAGA to be forced to do an honest days work. Poverty will be their fate.

You’ve made my day with this thread. I also feel bloodthirsty about these fuckers.

Mr Beast would absolutely want to run it

Refusing to take legally-permissible public vengeance is a big reason we got to this place.

i mean ultimately this stuff is crass and kinda scary bc it's all livestreamed but it's quite tame as far as cruel and unusual punishment goes. like the average trans woman in a men's prison for a small time weed charge has it an order of magnitude worse than the hypothetical described in the post

They want to throw "cruel and unusual punishment" out the window? That's a two-way street, baby.

I've had my own qualms about meting out something like this over the years, but esp. after the last couple I definitely want to these people quake and really fear retribution - unless that's on the table, I don't think anything sticks long term. Like we definitely can't do the J6 slow roll this time

Love it or not, what if it's the only way to stop this from coming back?

Your scenario would be improved by a Greek chorus pointing and laughing in unison.

And it’s not even class warfare/eat the rich posturing. Musk is genuinely anti-American and has openly committed crimes that should send him to prison! Most people are in fact only weakly committed to the idea that rich people are above the law

You’re not wrong

We need the Cops theme playing as they chase Altman through backyards ending with him being tackled by a guy in a ghillie suit

If I'm being honest, I keep myself going on those days when things seem pointless by remembering that I might live long enough to see this future

Well, I think so.

💯

I cannot put onto Al Gore's internet the things that I think would be wildly popular as PPVs

See this? THIS is where we could harness Newsom’s most loathsome instincts to serve the greater good. I semi jokingly suggest him as the next Dem administration’s press secretary (all of the optics with no actual power), but heading up the Fuck Trump Specifically task force world work too.

i would prefer the spectacle of public executions in certain cases

Excuse you Musk belongs locked in a hut with a dirt floor being given water with cholera in it

Also let’s put Civil Asset Forfeiture to work against financial crimes like we do against drug crimes

Show Drumpf and the entire family, and the admin officials looking up at a gallows that has 64 nooses on The Mall. Then leave their bodies to rot and be desecrated by raptors.

From your lips to god’s ears

I want to think it'd get through to the MAGA rank and file what a sham their golden king and his "genius" court are, but considering he put his own mugshot on banners throughout DC, it may take more.

Brutal and terrible!!

The rich and powerful cannot be untouchable. They are human beings no different than any other, so how can it be *anything* but perfectly acceptable to do to them what they have found so acceptable to see done to other people?

by their own logic even they will have failed and so will have only themselves to blame!

Again, as always, s2 of Punisher demonstrates that people really desperately want this

I'm not saying no.
