Within six months I was regularly getting gendered female (like 50/50) without even doing anything presentation-wise. So many little changes so fast.

The first change I noticed was that when I looked in the mirror first thing in the morning, I didn't look like I had just gotten out of a fight, I looked like someone said "pose!" and I was pulling one. it was subtle but I miss being struck by it. Now it's just "oh yeah, I always look like that"

It's been nearly a decade and sometimes I notice a huge change. I 'blame' switching to injections a year ago. The body is damn wild yo.

It's amazing isn't it? Chromosomes might be the first domino in the chain for most people but hormones are the second one and render the first one irrelevant. Everything real, epigenetics, cell production, chemical processes, metabolism, heart rate, emotions, follows hormones. I love it.

I just wish it worked better at older ages.

Yay for you <3 Heads up. If you start getting migraines, HRT can be the cause. I was on HRT since I was 15 (cancer=hysterectomy at 9yo). I try to spread the word. Docs will gaslight you.

Probably because that generation was taking 20mg of estradiol a day, and not a proper regimen of 2-4mg a day with an AA… or injections.

There could be other causes - e.g. environmental pollution has dropped significantly each successive generation. You wouldn't be able to pin it on the HRT without a full study done.

are you talking about HRT for menopausal symptoms? Because i'm pretty sure the original post is about hormone therapy for gender transitioning
