Quarter after quarter of decreasing revenue and shit stock performance for his entire time as ceo. They should have paid him to leave long ago. bsky.app/profile/seve...

As this WBD Sale (hopefully) winds down, I just want everyone to appreciate what I've decided to call "The Zaslav Dip:" The period between David Zaslav becoming CEO and the beginning of talks of an acquisition by Paramount or Netflix.

Just out of curiosity were you the guy yelling at people for being angry at AI stealing their jobs because of 'the other fires' and were executive golden parachutes what you meant by more important fires than people being scared for their own actual daily livelihoods facing imminent threat?

Yeah man that's the takeaway from what I've consistently said and written about AI for years now way to really engage in good faith, enjoy my mute list

It's literally the first time I ever heard of you, that was your first impression, telling people to get over themselves about AI impacting their careers. My second impression is this super rational response.

You could put Crisis On Infinite Earths, The Dark Knight Returns, and Kingdom Come on the big screen for that and get a handsome return but instead it’s just going to line that failclown’s pockets.

It's not just that he was terrible though. He made decisions even grandmothers who don't have televisions and live in Antarctica new were terrible fucking decisions. He made decisions he unmade so it's like he was never actually there to begin with. They're paying a ghost $567 million bucks.

$one million would be more than enough. think about how many great films could be made with $567 Million and how much lower movie tickets would be with that money

We need 70% to 90% tax bracket for all income over $10M to discourage this bullshit It would apply to stock as soon as they are awarded, or vested. Tax should be due when agreed, not when paid. What other dodges & deferrals need to be avoided?

this is what CEOs do now, the things the companies make aren't the products, the company itself is the product. The consumers aren't the customers, the shareholders are. Gonna be harder to improve Quality of life unless this economic system is addressed and changed.

Truly the worst people; he was utterly terrible at the job. Decadence at best, harming the public at worst. We must bring some semblance of alignment of incentives back.

The gluttonous, morbidly wealthy feeding off of runaway capitalism. Millions, billions, trillions ... it almost seems like make believe words. They lose meaning after a certain amount of zeros.
