The fact that they decided to make some minor confrontation in some random ass bar into national news is actually quite disgusting. Trans people and lgbtq people literally cannot show any anger or emotion or else they get blasted and targeted on national news

They end up *being in charge* because anyone who would challenge them ends up labeled as some kind of -ist and you aren’t in this world if you aren’t open to, and horrified by the idea that you might actually be an -ist. The owners weren’t angry - they were defeated and apologetic.

There are plenty of places in Western Mass that don’t have that problem, despite involving the same people. Having boundaries is a constant chore, but it is work lots of us learn to do. The flip side is that far right tolerates actual Nazis by not curating anything & just letting people be abused.
