On August 24, 1814, during the War of 1812 between the United States and England, British troops enter Washington, D.C. and burn the White House in retaliation for the American attack on the city of York (now Toronto ) in Ontario, Canada, in June 1813. www.history.com/this-day-in-...

That would have been true either way; it's possible nobody in the Trump administration realizes Seattle doesn't have a Democratic mayor because the office is nonpartisan, but he has threatened Seattle in the past.

Trump has dementia...and... NO MORE DISTRACTIONS! Release ALL of the Epstein files, Release ALL of the Epstein files, Release ALL of the Epstein files, Release ALL of the Epstein files and furthermore...Release ALL of the Epstein files... Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Our Secret Service won't allow it. Therez no protocol on handling enraged beavers with hockey sticks..and who wants to be around when a flock of Canadian Geese are landing.? .gawd awful dirty birds..but the real question remains: Just how long can you guys boo for? anybody thinking Guiness ?

I was rooting for the Seattle Mariners. And the Mariners would have fit neatly into your category. Trump insists Seattle was burned up and over-run by bad guys in 2020; people in Seattle feel they are on his hit list. I live near there, and our spirits were really lifted with every Mariner homer : (

Wow, thank you for bringing that to my attention. That's a crazy crazy statement never ever in my wildest dreams. Thought we'd ever have something like that happen in the United States of America🇺🇸 it makes me so so sad and sick to my stomach

Protecting civilians and government buildings when local government will not lift a finger are perfectly within presidential powers. You by no means are being invaded. If you were invaded, there wouldn’t be anything left. You would be slaves and all of your rights would be gone. Deservingly 🇺🇸

Imagine. Fans worried about being detained, strip searched, locked in a room with hundreds of other people where the lights never shut off and waiting weeks to find out if you’re gonna be released or sent to El Salvador to see the World Series.

Imagine. Engaging in the lucrative sports industry with a country that tramples on human rights and threatens our sovereignty. Whose leader makes videos of himself as the grim reaper coming for brown people, or pooping on peaceful protestors. Kind of takes the joy out of baseball and out of life!

Gross. Newsom jumped at the chance to support Trump's idea for tariffs on film production, which would have badly impacted Canada in prticular. He only opposes Trump until it's something that benefits him personally, then he's right on board supporting him. Fucking scumbag loser.

I was thinking more along the lines of Canada’s payback to Trump for all his insults. Certainly there is no shortage of Canadians deserving recognition and my comment was meant to be humorous.

Feel very lucky to have just been to Toronto and attended their final regular season home game in which our dude Alejandro Kirk cranked a grand slam and follow up homer. He is a real beast. And a nice guy.

Oh Phil, yes! And I so appreciate the ad our great upstairs neighbors aired! Speaking truth to power. I would have preferred another city under siege but I’m still feasting on the deliciousness of 2016!

There's no way he'd show up to a game. No possible way. The chance of drunken people booing and chanting and throwing things is too great. I don't think he visits a single truly public outdoor sporting event again. Fake ufc fight doesn't count.

As a Canadian, I'm so proud of our bilingual country. I grew up speaking both languages, and I'm now learning Spanish. We have an extensive Latino community here in Canada and they add value to our country overall. I think it's important to have the ability to communicate with people who matter.

And what be forced to speak English by a nation state that wants to make it the national language because of how racist and xenophobic it is? Suddenly learning and speaking French isn’t all that bad
