There are so many submissions, the site is having trouble... If your submission is stuck on 'Submitting', please try sending it again later. Your submission should be auto-saved in your browser.

also since bluesky doesn’t let you edit posts, here’s a picture of the tattoo I designed based on Waterfall, which I traveled 3 hours for. Worth every second, huge s/o to Rachel Baldwin, she’s a very talented tattoo artist, go give her a follow xx

I wasn't able to make it in time, but I salute those who were able to get theirs in. 🫡 I would've said something along the lines of how it impacted me twice in a good way, once when it initially came out during my childhood, and again when I got around to finishing it in high school.

i wrote mine yesterday. thank you for your game. it provides hope in a world where currently its getting really difficult. i'll probably replay it again soon. thank you for all that you have done. you don't know how important what you have made is to me... many, many thanks toby. ❤️😭

I couldn’t think of a good, short thing to tell the flower lol So instead, I just wanted to see what everyone else was telling it. There was a lot, and collectively I think it summed up everything nicely ✨

i just found out abt the site and sadly couldn't write my own memory.. i love undertale so much and i couldn't even show it by writing abt it but, i just want to say, thank you for making it ^^

I’m distraught I missed it, but I’ll say here: Undertale changed my life. It made me kinder, changed my view on game design, and has been a source of comfort through mental torment of the worst kind. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If I can make something half as good my life will be complete

I was just starting my senior year of high school when Undertale came out, and I think that timing is exactly why it made such an emotional impact on me. It made me feel like a kid again, not yet jaded by everything around us, with pure, innocent hope and love for the world.

I'd love to speak to you directly in any way shape or form. I had an extension channel that I'd like to pivot to an original cover channel that has long-form covers so people can use them as sleep or study aids. Sorry for posting multiple times to you, but I'm trying to give people what they need

Hey... I know it's an absolute longshot, but I'd like to speak to you in some way or form. Used to have an extension channel that people used as study and sleep aids, but everything got copyright struck from my channel. I want to make everything legally. If you can and want, please reach out to me!

ah damn i didn't realize the deadline was gonna be so soon, by the time i finished the pixel art it was already too late :/ would've been nice if it said there was a deadline on the site, i might've finished in time if i knew

Got mine in before the deadline, thankfully. I’m more worried about accidentally submitting twice because I had begun the prompt on my phone but then went to my PC to draw the sprite. Was my phone prompt submitted? I promise I didn’t click “submit” on my phone.

I wish I was able to submit a message, but Undertale is so near and dear to me since from the very beginning, so thank you and the team so so much for this game and I’m so glad to live in a world where it exists

I wanted to say a lot more, but I wouldn't have pursued all of these things if it wasnt for Undertale. Great art inspires more art. :) Thank you so much for Undertale.

I had an error early on but wasn’t able to submit it but I sincerely thank you OH-so much for making Undertale. You wouldn’t know how many people you’ve secretly converted into Touhou fans lol.

The text box couldn't fit everything i had to say. I feel like if i had a million characters it wouldn't be enough space. Thank you for UNDERTALE, Toby. It means more than I could ever express.

you did NOT give us enough writing space lol, and thank YOU for making your games, they clearly mean a lot to you and a lot to many of us, you're the best^^

This was a really cool thing to do for Undertale’s anniversary! I did accidentally send 2 since I had trouble sending the first one(Internet issues! Huzzah!) It said it did send apparently so my apologies for that! Regardless thank you for 10 Years!

great, i was late for the memories form 3: ive been into undertale/deltarune since 2018/2019, but ive been involved in it less over the years. i even had some ideas for AUs in my head that are only on my pc maybe i should revitalize those?

So I didn’t know it was 24 hours so I’m just gonna put mine here. Idk what it would say other than “sans bodypillow” because that is a core memory that is now locked away in my parents room forever in storage. My mom asked to get rid of it. I said no. It has historical significance.

I didn't get to submit mine in time as I fell asleep, but because I had it open the site still worked up until the submit button, soooo here's mine :)

Busy college student here, I don't want to be a bother, but do you think the flower will ever listen to more memories again? if not I just wanted to say thanks to you and your team for making a game that has touched mine and many other people's lives.

Hi Toby! 🎹 I’m Fran, an aspiring composer, dont want any regrets!, so i ask: What books 📚, audiobooks 🎧, courses, or other material helped shape your creativity, perspective, or way of seeing the world? 🌱 I’d be incredibly grateful to learn from what influenced you. 🙏reply

Your game is literally the reason I've started trying to learn programming and game design. It's also what even brought me to posting my art online for people to see. Hope this game you made out of duct tape and determination on a microwave continues to inspire people.

All I wanted was to participate in something that meant the world to me. To record my memory and love of the game. I've tried contacting anyone and everyone who I thought might listen. Instead of having something to look forward to, it's now something to dread.

Thank you Tricky Tony for irreparably morphing my brain into the goblin it is today. Never been the same since. Undertale made me realize that really anyone can make something, and I probably wouldn't be creating as much as I am now if it wasn't for the funny kid trips and falls into a hole game.

Also is it just my brainrotted deltarune analysis vision or is the speaking style in the initial post awfully familiar... couldn't be that flower's old friend, could it?

It took me a little bit to try and say what I wanted to put, as putting my love for a game that had such a IMMENSE influence on me when I was younger was pretty hard, but I think I got what I wanted to say put down. Thank you Toby for such wonderful games!

Hey, Toby... sorry for multiposting my comment, but I'd like to speak directly to you... I had an extension channel of your works, and I'm trying to make everything happen on Materia's terms... I don't know if I'll be able to, but I'd like to try and not leave any comm. avenue untried.

Without Undertale, I would literally not be the person I am today. I used to sit alone in the back of the class. Staying as quiet as possible. But Undertale ignited a passion within me. A passion to lead. Now I'm a director, a teacher, and looked to for advice. Thank you, Toby Fox. For everything. ❤️

Despite everything, it's still you. When it gets difficult, and the future remains unknown, there is always comfort in Undertale. Or as I call it: home. Stay determined, it is a tough world, but you will always be tougher. You've always defeated the worst, and you can now too. I believe in you.

like i had been sitting there for a long time with many requests almost taking a minute, and the long response time i finally decide to take a break it succeeded while i was away.. so beautiful

hopefully we're not too late for this one- Patience and Bravery, despite not necessarily being characters, they were the most fun gimick (esp with Asgores trident slashes) o7

This is really embarrassing, but I'm really sorry I haven't played it yet. I can't believe I've put it off this long. ; _____ ; I heard a high school band playing Megalovania recently though, and I'm so proud of you. Just amazing.

Thanks for posting about it here too, I missed out on some other fun events before, but it was nice to document them... I'll try to resubmit mine again when there's... I'm assuming maybe not 80,000 submissions...?

I just can't put into words how much Undertale did for me, and how it led me to discovering a community game that used some characters from it called The BOSS...well, long story short, I work for Sarcastic Pasta Games, who made that title. Without Undertale, I never would have gotten here. So thanks

I have not played Undertale yet. Back when it came out I got frustrated because all of my friends were pressuring me to play the game. Years later I got into Deltarune kind of on a whim and plan to buy and play Undertale as my next game to play.

That moment in the finale when Flowery has all your friends roped up, and his final attack closes in menacingly. Then out of nowhere Toriel's flames push them back, "Don't Give Up" swells as she professes her devotion and loyalty to you. Damn if that didn't warm my icy heart ❤️

Undertale is a lesson that the world needs now more than ever. It demonstrates that while being good may not be as easy as being forceful, only with faith in that goodness and the goodness in others can life be a wonderful adventure that uplifts and enriches everyone that participates.

it kickstarted my journey into educating myself about what "transgender" actually means (before that i thought it was about weird celebrities doing stunts for attention thanks to media), and lo and behold, turns out i was trans with a bunch of internalized issues about gender. thanks undertale.

I'm so glad you were able to unlearn those damaging messages about trans people at the time, and eventually come to terms with/honour your own identity too! That makes me feel so much. We all deserve(d) better! I'm just glad many of us found solace in this little game. :') bsky.app/profile/mars...

Thank you for creating a piece of art that helped my younger self when I really needed it! The world of Undertale reminded me that if even monsters can be loveable, maybe I could be too. It's always possible to try again and grow. And despite everything, it's okay to be who we are. ❤️

"The Echo Flower is full. It can hold no more memories. Still, you lay a note with your memory written on it beside it. You apologize, for not being there when the flower was listening, and hope the Note is appreciated. The Echo Flower sees value in your memory, you know it will keep it safe."

I made one but put a y in my handle instead of an E, darn. Still. Your games help me through a lot of tough times, and they will for a while more to come. Thank you for putting your all into them.

I don't have artsy skills but I do feel like smiling Napstablook represents my current day self pretty well. I've been through rought time but I'm a lot happier with my life now, and Undertale was there for me to tell me things would be better going forward :)

I really hope that reset button didn't delete mine but I might as well post it here too. I would've yapped SO MUCH if it wasn't for the character limit, but basically, this game's story, characters, EVERYTHING is awesome. It helped me improve my art and make friends, thank you Toby :3

Wow, drawing pixel art is NOT easy lol. Seeing what other people made kinda makes me wanna remake mine. But about the message, if I’m truly honest, there are not enough words that can make me describe how truly impactful Undertale was to me. Toby, you managed to create a whole another level of ART.

Was able to put in my submission yesterday. There aren’t enough words to explain how much UNDERTALE and its story impacted my childhood; and how DELTARUNE is gonna continue building my now entering, adulthood. Thanks for everything Tobyfox! Can’t wait to see what’s next to come

Lena Raine and Toby Fox must've studied in some wizard school of music they're 2 musicians that have had me ever truly and rawly feel something they both physically can't miss too

We're still life long friends to this day, I believeUndertale molded a part of our outlook & humor, and who we are today. The first fandom I was ever truly a part of and invested in, helped me find passion in art as an expressive medium. Despite everything, over the years, I still love Undertale.

Just for the record, I'm of the thoutgh of “I want shorter games with worse graphics made by people who are paid more to work less and I’m not kidding". I am a stingy with my money, but this is just Monkey Island reference.

my memory is kinda silly and not very profound like everyone else here, but i did spend 20 minutes copying the box mettaton sprite because he's always been my favorite, and tried to write a thank you message but that's all i could fit lol

I hope you forever and always know how much of an impact you have had on the world and individuals’ lives. Here’s mine! I strive to be kind. And green is my fave color :) Undertale taught me all of what I wrote and that imperfections lead to great things.

Managed to do this earlier yesterday, and have had so much fun with the avatar maker! UNDERTALE has always had a very special place in my heart, so thank you tobyfox, for making something I'll never forget. <3 (also, any plans on bringing the avatar maker back some day? It's such a good format!)

My sprite sucks and I wasn’t creative enough to draw anything cool. But thank you for the opportunity to play pretend. Also Omega Flowey was my favorite boss fight in the game. It was chaotic in a good way, for someone who knew the game by heart since I was 12-13. Jeez I’m old, haha.

Undertale helped me in so many ways it's hard to put it into a character limit but it was a part of what got me out the alt. right pipeline and thanks to characters like Mad Mew Mew I was able to realize I was trans

A conversation about Undertale showed my date how passionate I could be about something, which was one of the things that drew her to me. We've been married now for 5 years, and I credit a lot of that to that initial conversation. Undertale literally changed my life.
