sorry to ruin your fun but his whole stoner nice guy routine is an act. Scooby's not even his real name, it's Gideon, and the only reason he can doss about in a mystery van is because his family, the D'Oubay-Doux, made a fortune in the East India Company in the 1700s. educate yourself.

Somebody ripped out the capacity of the British state to make and do things, and now we can’t even fight wars. If only we had some idea who was to blame

I’m interested in US politics in the same way I’m interested in stopping next door’s cat from shitting on my lawn

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

A new survey of 1,000 American adults found that the strongest supporters of transgender sports bans are not the people who admire women most: they are the people who hold the most hostile views about women. www.helenwebberley.com/news/transge...

helenwebberley.comAre transgender sports bans really about protecting women? | Dr Helen WebberleyThe data says no. Those most hostile to women are most in favour of banning trans athletes.

Every time some pedantic jabrone goes "ACK-shually Holmes never wore the deerstalker," I roll my eyes in Sidney Paget. A "sometimes hat" isn't the same as "never wore the hat"!

The first of a series of #IntoTheGroove related 'textwalls' to give anyone who hasn't dived in yet, a rough idea as to what you can expect. Will also be sharing these on IG (@whenisbirths) and TikTok (@justin.lewis.when). Do share if you like it. Thanks.

Rowling *never* writes about women’s rights, workplace discrimination or the threats to women from predatory men. I tracked her posts for five months: Well over 200 hateful transphobic smears. Not a single post about women’s actual concerns or needs None

How do you know these people are extremists? Because they cannot be appeased, even as our entire political/media class enforces their demands and repeats their drivel. It makes them not one bit happier, because they don’t want compliance: they want more extreme, forceful and violent measures.

Another daily occurrence that doesn't merit the attention of the Prime Minister or Home Secretary.

Imagine feeling like your country's newsmedia could at any time turn its back and begin this level of hate campaign against you, to the point that they harass you and everyone you love to the literal ends of the earth, mining you for content until your death and even after. How would you live life?

Another one here where the British press just smashed fuck out of a member of the public’s life for no good reason, just because they wanted to and nobody will stop them doing at. And they’re still going, even now.

Tell you what's really good for recovering from anxiety and depression, financial instability.

Social media seems to be pushing loads of "You're Gen X, you're special!" posts on me now. I don't agree with any of them. We weren't special for "doing without" the internet or liking Rave, Grunge or The Stone Roses. That's all just circumstantial nonsense, not a reason for a Mutley medal.
