Any gamers been playing The Blood of Dawnwalker? I’m around what I think is halfway through it (hard to tell because of the in-game time mechanism) and absolutely loving it. It’s a perfect successor to the Witcher 3. A truly excellent game made by a pretty small studio.

Two former Spurs players have won the Ballon d’Or. Players who were with us before they won it and one that we developed ourselves. None for Arsenal!

🗣️ Harry Kane on winning the Ballon d'Or. "I am almost speechless. "To all my England teammates... it was an honour to captain and lead you. "I want to say thank you to Tottenham Hotspur. I wouldn't be where I am here today without Tottenham.”

How lucky are we, Spurs fans, that we got to see Kane play for us so many times. I still think my favourite goal of his for us is the one against Arsenal when the ball smacks the inside of the post and goes in, then he rips off his protective mask as he celebrates. Perfect goal.

can’t go without saying for as good as those two looked, and they did look a proper pivot, Maddison forming that triangle with them was unstoppable. Hope he’s not out long.

Fascinating Jeremy, now tell us about the time you cut national insurance twice as an electoral game despite knowing we couldn't afford it.

Just had an absolute horrible thought in which Palace sack Sage before we play them this weekend and Frank comes in to replace him then gets the win over us. I’m sick

FWIW I know this is completely irrational and simply based on years of Tottenham trauma. I don’t think Sage gets sacked before Saturday and we know Frank isn’t a particularly good manager anyway

I've said it before and I'll say it again. When one man is responsible for the overwhelming majority of your success, it's not your club that is great. It's him.

The worst Manchester United performance since the last time we said "the worst Manchester United performance since the last time we said" "the worst Manchester United performance since..." ad inifinitum, on a never-ending loop.

I’ve been buzzing all day because Spurs beat Chelsea yesterday. What a delightful derby victory. I’ve been thinking too a lot about how Tonali and Fernandes are proving to be worth every penny we paid for them. And Maddison, who brings a touch of class that elevates everything the team does. COYS

I'm in the West Bank this week as part of the “Protect the Harvest” coalition along with Israelis for Peace, Unarmed Civilian Protection in Palestine & Protect the Harvest.

This is CRAZY. Madders is so important for us. I really hope he will be able to stay fit this season bc we looked so much better with him in the starting XI on Monday. Everything flows through him and he’s so good at creating chances. Also always capable of scoring a goal from outside the box

I know he's a Premier League champion so maybe he won't care but Eze has been pretty poor since moving to Arsenal. He looked absolutely lost against Forest the other day and has really underwhelmed. I mean, he scored against us a few times last season but that wasn't very hard to do ...

How good was Tonali yesterday? So much goes through him -- I thought he was brilliant against Yanited last week but he was instrumental yesterday. Gonna be so important.

Keep seeing other press organisations describing the ITV Reform expose as “shocking”. Given how open Reform are with their abhorrent views, I can only assume the thing that shocked them was watching some fellow journalists actually doing journalism, instead of unhinged op-eds about trans people.

This enrages me so deeply I don't know what to say. Being able to control your body is *the* most basic freedom, one which is necessary for the exercise of all other freedoms possible in a liberal democratic society

Samuel Alito: We won't overturn Obergefell because it's engendered reliance interests. Jan Crawford: Well, many people had organized their lives around Roe v. Wade. Alito: No, they didn't. Women merely had an "abstract" interest in "ideas about the kind of society that they were going to live in."

I have never seen coverage of a live trial, one involving allegations of multiple sex attacks on multiple women, framed in a more distasteful way. It's not 'Fame under fire' it's a rape trial. And it involves actual women. And this from the *checks notes* BBC

So this, JK Rowling getting the two-part 'what I want' privilege, and Gove exorcises the ghost of his former squeeze. Meanwhile Sally Rooney is dropped by her publisher. Quite the week for 'cancel culture', eh? Pfft.

I wonder if Martinez was inspired by Romero. So often, yes, the boards are responsible for the situation clubs find themselves in but when players call them out it’s also a clever way to absolve themselves of any responsibility. Martinez legit ducked out of the way for Solanke’s goal

The competitiveness of the Prem now is just insane. Coventry put four past Newcastle last night. Four! Newcastle are a team in transition, definitely, but not that long ago there was a (worrying) trend in which promoted teams just went straight back down. Now it feels like anyone can go down
