MANY people came to my table at the NYCC and thanked me for making noise and organizing around political issues. I thanked them back and said I'm just constitutionally incapable of keeping my mouth shut, which is true! But the real sauce: I'm part of multiple communities that make me braver.

All politicians are my opps bc i feel that is the appropriate way to be a citizen in a democracy however he makes it difficult sometimes

One of my library kids asked me this once. He could have been old enough for a threads account.

Threads is where the conversation is happening

I live in a rural town and, like, I don't know how to tell you this, but the girls play on the boys team and vice versa all the time because otherwise we don't have enough players for a game and it's literally always fine so stop being weirdos about kids sports and just let trans kids play.

Social palate cleansed: I’m walking home from the store and a lil toddler lady just did the open-close-open-close hand gesture for hello at me, babbled, and then blew me a kiss and shriek-laughed with glee. What a beautiful world

Screenprinting some notebooks today, because I think it is fun. Much of my merch decisions are precedented on the thought "this'll be fun."

I played a fanmade Warrior Cats game made in PowerPoint as a child.

my favourite however? this ridiculously unconventional approach to game design. a lost art here, I want to capture both pages and show you the entire thing

Spitting mad hearing about how people are treating Bunlith. I'm gonna %&$*]@$#&!!!!!

thinking fondly again of the college girl at the donut place, who made a little muslim boy bounce giddily out the door after she told him his donut was free, and who waved me away and said "you're good" when it was my turn to pay and then, when asked if there was a deal that day said "i hate my job"

btw bimbo is free but you can pay a little to get some bonus features (like one-click upload to Neocities and some other hosting providers) also paying for it helps support me, a trans mother who cannot find consistent paid work in this hell economy

Previously I have posted about a Nintendo of Europe downloadable premium animated wallpaper that featured a bizarre Toad eating the wallpaper. The files have finally been datamined, allowing the Wallpaper-Eating Toad to be observed in never-before-seen maximum quality.

My husband gave me some extremely cryptic clues to the 4 fruit leathers he hid around the house. In the past two hours I have found 1. Is my enclosure enriched? yes. Am I happy about it? NO. I WANT MY FRUIT LEATHER

because it is relevant to my work, I have tried very hard to educate myself on how AI works, be fair and measured in how I evaluate it, and regularly test new tools to confirm or debunk my priors and tbh AI haters are just nailing it with less work like 99% of the time. keep at it folks

all my art is fetish art. my fetish for boobs is my fetish for love is my fetish for cute underwear is my fetish for truth. maybe it's different for other people, but the thoughts that make me happy do not bear the complication of Sex Ontology. they're all mixed together inside my one human body!

A good demonstration of how absurdly small insects can get. I was looking at a relatively small (2.5 mm) pteromalid wasp and noticed something stuck to its wing. It was an even smaller wasp.

i think it would be great with the holiday season right around the corner if we skipped the "how to avoid talking about politics with your kooky uncle" articles and got a bunch of more useful "how to talk to older family members about setting a family codeword in case of phishing attempts" articles

yet again, corruption in the dems via fundraising shouldn't be seen mostly as "personally fattening individual already wealthy electeds wallets" and more as "making sure everybody's loser nephew or cousin has a cushy six figure job with benefits"

We found that as of right now 73% of your campaign donation goes back to the consultants and vendors (!!!), four times more than just 20 years ago. Only 13% to ads. Even I was shocked.
