he/him, likes cats. butts are my comedic kryptonite. Realizing my life is a lot more tranquil these days if I just block idiots instead of arguing with them, so if you're a Zionist, TERF, or some other brand of awful dipshit expect a short leash

The USPS can't "run out of money," the sole question is the people in charge of the federal government believe delivering mail is worth funding the same way they already fund armed kidnapping gangs, concentration camps, and blowing up girls' schools.
The U.S. Postal Service, which lost $9 billion in 2025, recently warned that it could run out of money within 12 months.

Google is destroying the open web that it uses for most of its revenue. Surely nothing bad will happen as a result.
Welp. The internet had a nice run. Some outlets have lost over 90% of their traffic since the "AI" summaries rolled out. "...the four worst-hit publications [now] get less monthly web traffic combined than the r/ChatGPT subreddit gets on its own."

i don't care about any arguments against this. right now the sum total of my political advocacy is: crush the Republicans and make them pay. i don't care what comes after because until we do that nothing better is possible.
New York Dems are reportedly still expected to push for a constitutional amendment that would let them redraw the congressional map in 2028 to counter GOP gerrymanders. Dems could target 3-4 seats currently held by GOP. Dems must pass it both in 2026 & 2027, then win voter approval in November 2027
