They want to normalize seeing people killed in public so they can kill more people in public. It's a prelude to open warfare.

When Elon Musk's groups spent $20M+ on Wisconsin's 2025 Supreme Court race, his involvement backfired and his candidate lost by 10 points. Now his super PAC has quietly spent $14M+ on key midterm races, including the Texas Senate race. Would be a shame if people found out.

"Clean energy is an expensive luxury favored by wooly-headed liberals" has a 30-year head start & the full weight of the RW media machine behind it. A few Dems saying "clean is cheap" a few times -- even as other Dems back off from their clean-energy commitments -- is not going to turn that around.

Republicans consider public initiatives dangerous flirtations with socialism. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is busy reviving the concept of public ownership by having government agencies take stakes in a variety of companies. https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/37Vplp

Cool that renewables have become the cheapest source of energy in the world just as a bunch of reactionary-centrist US pundits have taken up the right-wing "climate vs. cheap energy" framing.

Don’t forget to attend your local #NoKings protest, treat it like you would a hike, come prepared and plan ahead. Wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be walking or standing for long periods. Check the weather before you go and dress accordingly, bringing layers, rain gear, or sunscreen as needed.

A pattern is developing where everyone who fights back against a Trump attack inevitably wins with their reputation much better than before, and everyone who caves to him looks like shit and has Trump coming back for more a month later.

Feel free to continue arguing over the shooter's motives, but please understand that *it doesn't matter*. There's a organized political movement that plans to suppress, arrest, or kill its political opposition. It it seeking pretexts. Anything will do. If it's not this, it'll be something else.

Pointing out Charlie Kirk's hate speech is not hate speech. It's objective reporting. Apologize to Matthew Dowd and rehire him. A full-throated embrace of genocide is hate speech – beyond all measure. Fire Brian Kilmeade. Immediately.

If this guy from a gun loving Republican family concluded at some point, according to one alleged piece of evidence that Kirk was “filled with hate,” he came to that conclusion AS AN INDIVIDUAL, and people who support the Democratic Party have NOTHING TO DO WITH IT, you scumbags.

When you publish a website that posts the names and photos of scholars who have written or said things you disagree with and encourage people to surveil and harass them, you are not, in fact, a “free speech” organization.

Ted McCormick@tedmccormick.bsky.social

It is quite simply dishonest to describe TPUSA as a “free speech” organization and not even mention the “Professor Watchlist,” as NPR just did. Reporting on a crime does not entail adopting the victim’s views.
