NPUs predate the AI Bubble guys. We should want very good NPUs so we can move past cloud, even if we don’t use these things. I remember the first pixel phone to use NPUs for photo processing I was so glad it wasn’t on cloud, but google found it too slow So back to cloud! Cloud meaning datacenter!!
