My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Just went to Publix and a bulb of garlic cost 7.99. It was the elephant garlic but 7.99 for something that will probably not last the week is ridiculous. I bought the rest of my groceries and took off the garlic. I just can’t justify that price. Especially when I know it is cheaper.

I think we need to pay more attention to how much Trump says other people “hate this country”. If every accusation is a confession then this is a pretty serious confession for a President.
