Yikes! Who keeps advising this strategy of Eby begging for Green votes. Aside from being somewhat pitiful, it only irritates and cements the decision of decided Green voters and underlines that the NDP have lost the progressive vote.

Neither the Conservatives or NDP are pledging money to fulfill McCallum's Newton SkyTrain ask. And unlike 2018, there isn't billions already committed to a Surrey rapid transit project that can be transferred over. So this is about trying to placate now, while figuring out the details later.
