best i can find is this www.rawstory.com/jared-polis-... which sounds like the fix isn't in yet
Story on Denver7.com “DENVER — Gov. Jared Polis appears to be signaling that he is open to granting some form of clemency to Tina Peters, as he extends the deadline for such applications.” Robert Garrison
@colorado.gov We aren’t so stupid that we would watch you compare apples to oranges and not call you out on capitulation. Be sure to remember to consider one committed three more crimes than the other and that they were not the same offense.
Not pardoned yet but compared to the recent conviction without jail time of state senator Sonja Jaquez Lewis for the same crime Gov Polis has extended the deadline for Peters’ attorneys to file for her pardon. In addition, Polis said it isn’t lost on him
that the two women were convicted of virtually the same crime but got very different sentences. See www.rawstory.com/amp/jared-po...
Here’s more on the potential Peter’s’ pardon bsky.app/profile/cafe... Just FYI
Context: I was a precinct captain and caucus elector for Polis and Jaquez-Lewis. I have supported and voted for them both. Former state sen Lewis is a personal friend. That said, Polis equating Lewis and Peters’ crimes is utter BS. And to use Lewis to justify such cowardice is just pathetic
Wrong. He hasn't yet. You need to delete your post. www.rawstory.com/jared-polis-...
Huh? Are you absolutely sure he’s actually done it Adam? The fact Polis is even considering it is truly atrocious and an absolute betrayal but my understanding is that he’s only proposed this thru his social media posts. www.9news.com/article/news...
Rep. Kinzinger: Sure of your facts? Last I heard, @colorado.gov Polis was seriously considering clemency—not a pardon—& perhaps a partial commutation of Peters' sentence. Can we get some clarity?
What does @bennet.senate.gov have to say about Colorado.gov 's Gov. Polis' decision to pardon 2020 election conspiracist Tina Peters? What does Gov. Polis have to say about it?
He's considering clemency, not grant a pardon, according to Rawstory. Bullshit reasoning, though. Same statute, but thinks forging letters of support to an ethics committee is equivalent to interfering with the election process under your supervision. www.rawstory.com/jared-polis-...
