Hegseth: "President Trump directed the most complex and secretive military operation in history, and it was a resounding success." Move over D Day!

Hegseth is obviously drunk. The unmitigated fawning over trump by his inferior and incompetent “lackeys” is both vile and disgusting. Where I come from, respect is earned, and is not given to boost a whiny man baby’s ego. trump absolutely doesn’t deserve respect… Or even to be treated seriously.

That's the plan.

Hard to get beyond the over-the-top MAGA style that is required when cameras are on. Doing the job is, at best, secondary. If you are seen with anything less than North Korean-like praise, you will be out on your ear. And since you got here by having no other skills, there's no place to land.

So he planned the mission, led the pilots, navigated the approaches, coordinated the planes & tankers, told them when to drop the payloads? Amazing! Will MAGA & Fox ever call bullshit? As his claims and lies get more & more ridiculous it has to strain the credulity of even the biggest diehards

I find that hard to believe that he did any of that…he lacks strategic, analytical skills/thinking. Yes, totally agree that MAGA and Fox need to call bullshit!!!

Even Operation Iraqi Freedom had a much more complex and secretive opening than this. In the opening hours of the invasion, the Iraqi air force and anti-aircraft equipment were annihilated, leaving the US with total air superiority the rest of the war.

What happened to these people that turned them into such servile, bootlicking, asskissing, brown-nosing, ball washing sycophants? Have they no self-esteem, no pride, no self-respect? Is this what they imagined that they would become when they were kids?

Trump seems to operate under the assumption that if you say something enough, it must be true. In his mind, I think he truly believes he "obliterated" some shit but the rest of us keep trucking along in reality.

It was a flight of B2s. It wasn't even on a level with many of the bombing missions in WWII. Between GPS, ultra heavy bombs and stealth bombers, it was a milk run. And yes, the pilots did a hell of a job, they didn't fuck up like their SecDef always does.

I can think of about a hundred US ops more complex and important, but yeah, Trump thinks he is better than George Washington and Lincoln, so that should scale us. Here is something that is #1. Hegseth is the worst SecDef of all time.

Even if it had worked, we're talking about a country that, relative to the US military, cannot defend itself. It's like an NFL team playing a pretty good high school team. Not really something to jerk the guy off about. But we know now that it didn't really work, anyway. Beltway Bob here ...

complex... secretive... they Planes were seen taking off .. reported to be headed to Guam.... Why would you believe that.. after the Mad Shit King had announced that Iran must surrender unconditionally... that was a declaration of WAR.. they had been talking in the press about bombing fr days

What a horrific embarrassment this guy is (so OF COURSE 47 made him SecDef). Hegseth is so ridiculously incompetent - while so obviously, painfully desperate to appear competent - he's like a 14-year-old who smokes and strikes tough-guy poses to make himself look mature. Warrior? No. Pathetic.

LOL no he didn't. That's simply just not true. At all. D Day, Manhattan project, the assassination of Bin Laden, virtually anything during the Gulf War. Even the fucking Bay of Pigs was more complicated. It was complicated for a stupid old man with dementia, that's all. Even a drunk could do it

Eh, he's a neocon, of course he agrees with bombing Iran, though siding with Trump is puzzling. His approach was dangerous. Bombing should be a last resort. However Trump lacks any negotiation skill beyond bullying, & most don't react well to that, especially Iran. There will be consequences.

Oh really, the air tankers flying in great numbers ahead of the most secretive mission in history were not a giveaway? All the papers talking about B2 bombers dropping bunker busting bombs on Iranian nuclear facilities was a collective hallucination then!

I guess it qualifies as secretive if the lead up to it is preceded by non-stop rambling by the president on his shit social media platform that is largely perused by goofs and weirdos.
